FREEZIM Congress: A call to action
08 May 2014 at 03:52hrs | Views
A new generation has come into the picture in this country since we attained independence three decades ago, which means all those who were born after independence are almost getting past the youth tag, that is 30years of age downwards of which a thirty four year old person was born in 1980, thus this group has become a generation in its own.
It has been said over and over again that politics is a dirty game, mostly by those who are neck deep into that same game. While this serves as a warning of the realities on the ground, it shall not be said as a deterrent for patriotic citizens who must fully participate in the decision making processes of their countries. No amount of cajoling, threats or otherwise shall we allow to derail us from the mission that we are on, from the duties that are called upon us as citizens and nationals of our country. As citizens of our country we are on a mission. A mission to restore our country Zimbabwe to its original form, to restore it to a violent free God fearing bread basket of Africa. Not to be a basket case. Zimbabwe is our country, our nation. Look here, the task of nation building and safeguarding one's country is a duty that calls upon every patriotic citizen of a country. Without you, the world was never going to be the same so you have to make a positive impact in the lives of your folks and make your presence felt. You have to make your voice heard. That's a duty that you cannot delegate to anyone, not even your parents, not even your spouse or kids. It's an individual calling that calls upon your individual participation. It calls upon you to rise up and stand in solidarity with your country's democratic values.
Just as written in Nehemiah 2:17-18. Jerusalem had been destroyed and its walls burnt down. It had been plundered. When Nehemiah heard about it, he did not call upon representatives, he did not call upon the rich, he did not call upon the educated and neither did he call upon tribal leaders but he called upon every individual, everyone who professed to be a citizen of Jerusalem. Nehemiah called upon everyone with a sense of belonging to go and rebuild the walls of their country, to go and restore their country to its natural state and beautiful glory. He even stressed that the longer their country lay in ruins, the more they were despised and looked down upon. True and genuine patriotic citizens of Jerusalem agreed to stretch their hands to the good work of restoration. They felt it was their responsibility to make sure their country was in good order. They felt it upon themselves to build an admired country that would make them a proud people, a proud nation.
After restoring Jerusalem to its glory and fame, they knew that they could then carry the name with dignity and pride. They wanted to remain a people of distinguished dignity, integrity and sovereignty. And they knew that in its good state, their country would be able to provide for them abundantly and their neighbours also. What they felt was what every sane and patriotic citizen of a country should feel. Rebuilding a country is not only the duty of politicians; it's a mission that must be heavy upon every citizen's conscience.
It's a duty that every patriotic citizen must vow and swear to undertake and honour. It is indeed a moral duty. It must be normal for a citizen to feel moral responsibility when his country is going through turbulent waters. It's your responsibility when dissidents continue to bombard innocent citizens' homes in Guruve and petrol bombs hiss with fury razing down police stations. It's indeed your responsibility when unemployment reaches 90% and factories closes, thereby eradicating the available source of income. Being a civil servant becomes a cancerous pestilence that kills just because you are left with no option. The best action is not to run away to neighbouring South Africa, Botswana or overseas. You have to stand firm. Yes. Stand and fight these evils O Zimbabwean. Believe in the potential you have and maximize it. Just like Joseph Busha does. He is not deterred by interminable hate speeches by tongues which are laced with poison. He is not deterred by intrusion and onslaught into his private life. He set an example for us that no problem that faces a country as a whole is solved by violence, murders and fingerpointing.
Listen; take a look at all the countries in which a revolutionary party turns rebel. Instead of driving the country ahead, they push it backwards through murders, infrastructure demolitions, lootings, corruption, violence, etc, mostly to the extent of restoring it to a state worse than that in which it was under settler rule. They are taking the country back kwayakanga yakasungirirwa with their actions while their mouths preach that they are moving forward. This is just going round in circles, sembudzi yakasungirirwa. You pant, you sweat but no distance covered. Ko handiti ndozvatiri kuti zvakwana here vabereki? That's true. Look at Zimbabwe's economy in the first decade at the turn of the millennium and contrast it with the first decade of independence. Unonzwa kutya mwachewe. Vanasorojena vakazvifunga vanochema. Even when they reflect on all the promises made by the other rebels who were supposed to be our comrades in arms that once they join the government they would implement and boosted their morale to an extent of voting for them in March 2008. They should also remember the famous declaration 'Muri kuti muri kutambura? Hamusati . . .' Where are most of these dissidents?
Listen as Free Zim Congress we are not against individuals or a certain party. We are against suffocating ideologies and policies that doesn't take into account the generation 40. Both the regime and the foreign controlled movement wants to irreparably destroy the country such that when they finally realize that they can never usurp the power of the people our revolutionary government will start rebuilding what was built before but was destroyed by these dissidents in their moments of madness, which is a blatant waste of public revenue. It's worse than robbery of public funds. I like a saying by a friend of mine that economists are best at creating problems that they themselves can only solve. It's true with these people. They do everything they can to force the masses to vote for them. They create a situation where the ordinary man loses interest in the day to day running of his country, raising non-existent issues like marginalization and tribalism, ignoring altogether the Unity Accord they claim to have signed after successfully consolidating the entirety of independence from white domination but leaving freedom in the balance. Because freedom is where the indigenous person owns the means of production and is empowered to fully benefit from the providentially bestowed resources. Freedom is where a youth in the party have aspirations of becoming a leader one day, aspirations that becomes reality without causing the individual harm. You can't have non existence political ambitions in a free country. Kuzvarira muvhu semadhumbe epadongo remuroyi? Unoshandira vamwe vachiita mari. The foreign rooted movements are pushed by world terrorists and these other aggressive governments that they are heavily indebted to in pursuit of personal glory, with promises of huge and various packages that they get desperate to gain recognition and celebrity status at the expense of the masses. They join the rebels in professing excessive love for the people but whoever is in better control of his senses knows that love out of control is dangerous but love under control is powerful. If a guy feels love out of control for a lady he rapes the lady, claiming he has excessive love and he may bash the lady on the slightest suspicion. He calls excessive and unfounded jealous and selfishness love. Shame. That's the problem with revolutionaries turned rebels. That's the problem with dissident movements. When they suspect that people are forsaking them for a democratic indigenous ideology, they resort to violence and start torturing and killing the same people they claim to love. They call for sanctions by their barbarism that cripples the economy of a country they profess their devotion and swear allegiance to. They literally invite measures that work against ordinary people's progress and genuine economic, social and political empowerment, yet they claim undying love for the same people and they claim they want to empower them. Hoo kugocha kunoda kuri kwaamai nhai?
When we are alone in our homes we are true revolutionaries who really want to have the necessary change. But when we say come out and let's join hands your feet are stayed by unnecessary and unfounded fear. Scared cowards. We can never trade our country and freedom for anything else just to please greedy imperialist forces. Never! The moment we allow these foreign sponsored movements and the now fake revolutionary party to continue we will be applying for the demise of our rich legacy from the First Chimurenga to second and subsequently Third Chimurenga. Is it worth to forget our hard won struggle in favour of money? No. It once happened to Zambia under Kenneth Kaunda and the people denied such continuation. Where is UNIP today? It's defunct. That's what will happen to ZANU PF if we don't allow these greedy people and the other puppets to reign. Don't forget that the demise of self centred interests in the stratus quo is also the demise of our miseries despite some trialists claiming they are reviving ZAPU. From where? Genuine leaders of ZAPU know that it's now non-existent as a party. It was swallowed. All MDCs and their surnames and that never existent ZAPU were created to enrich a few elite people not to form a government of majority rule. They opposed mass resettlement and now they oppose indigenization and empowerment. If you take a closer look, you see that even individuals in the rebel movement spend most of their lives opposing. Opposing is their theme. Be it good or bad. They failed to drop their opposing theme even when they got into government. They fail to draw a line between those which must be opposed and that which must maintain a status quo. They still talked and acted as the opposition. Too many complaints which characterize immature people are their order of the day. They need a bullet tipped pen to cross an X of victory in the ballot box. During their opposing confusion they ended up contradicting themselves. They got caught up in their own snares and traps. Sometimes they were left in the ditch when their masters called for a different dance from the previous one and their leader played follow my leader like we did in our early days of life. They attempted to show a bit of Africanism in condemning homosexuality and its ugly faces but when their master Gordon Brown threatened not to give aid to men who don't want to marry fellow men they quickly jumped ship and vehemently advocated for it. Kusatya kupikisana neBhaibheri. So if they say anything don't just swallow it hook, line and sinker because the moment their masters calls for another change, ahi, unosiiwa pachena.
When Joseph Busha and his faithful disciples make a call to the people, they all rise in unison, knowing he went down the torturous path before, its peak being on the demonization of the party, labels that he was given as a result of his courage and consistency and all the insults that he received. He is not violent and he doesn't threaten. Oh don't forget the famous threat issued by none other than Morgan that, 'If Mugabe does not want to go peacefully we will remove him violently.' But Joseph saw the obstacles and now knows how to bypass them. His maturity is very different from infant politicians the rebel movement is roping in who were only eager to get a slice of the loot before the unity government ship sank. I cannot deny altogether that these rebel movements and the hijackers of the revolutionary party are on a mission. But check it yourself, they are on a mission of destruction, they are devil's advocates, the Sanballat and Tobiah of our time, while Joseph like Nehemiah calls upon those on a mission to rebuild and restore to arise and do the good work.
We have desperate people in Zimbabwe in the name of civic groups and some NGOs who claim they will never give credibility to any elections not won by the party of their choice and label the rebel movement leader as a freedom fighter. My foot! If there is anyone who is living today in Zimbabwe befitting the title of Freedom Fighter it's none other than Joseph Busha. The guy fought in a way never seen before. But one point must be made clear; if these selfish cunts think we can just sit on our laurels and let them oppose the wishes of the masses vakairasa. They can see the power of people in Zambia, Kenya, South Africa and Mozambique. We will fight to the last man and we mean it. Inside their rank and file there are some who are being suffocated by their stinking policies but are just waiting for the ripe time to join in the fray and honour their oaths to defend the liberation of Zimbabwe. Their masters think we are not a people able to make a change. They forget that they at one time were just ordinary illiterate folk like most of us but political ideologies inculcated in emergency cases do not take such a long time to bear fruit. They even forget that we were not just given independence. We won it. We earned it. We deserved it. The same determination that produced smoke in Smith's eyes is still there. It's hereditary and we are proud recipients of it. Sacrifices are individually made and they need to know that there are people like me ready to make such a sacrifice for the sake of my kids. Because I now see the advantages of liberation I don't want my children to get the worse of it when these rebels and pirates of the revolution reverse the gains of liberation. They claim education was not available during Mugabe's rule but most of them obtained their degrees during such a time. What unveiled hypocrisy!
The issue of working for one's country doesn't call for external resources. Commit what you have now to the struggle and it will have fruits. Remember when God called Moses He asked Him what's in your hand? And what was in Moses' hand did the great job. God didn't give Moses any physical arsenal but the hunger for success, that we must all have and use what we have already. We must take advantage of the current downward spiral of the rebel MDC movements to raise our flag high. All those fence sitting confused people must be our people. But it is incumbent upon each of us to convince them that the politics of this country goes beyond just anti Mugabe or anti ZANU PF. They were taught to hate, let us teach them to love. Because only with love can love be awakened. We show them genuine love and they will show us genuine love then their interest is quickened to love that which we love. The time yekushanda ground is now! Patriotism must first dwell in the individual's mind such that he will ask himself, 'What should I do for my country?' and not 'What will the country do for me?' If their mindset get tuned to such a level of responsibility, then they won't give pressure to the party by expecting remunerations for the job they will be doing. The fact is we are many who are ready to sacrifice our lives for the country and the party as well as for our true, credible leaders, not hired immature ones who are bent on frustrating every effort to resuscitate our economy. Jesus said hired shepherds will abandon the flock. So we will ever rally behind the original shepherd! We are plenty who are ready to voluntarily work for the country but sadly we are never openly given the chance. We suffer and we suffer the most because there is no one in whom we can fully confide. The burden of our solitude will not be as heavy as it is if Oh God, we are allowed to voice our concerns.
We get frustrated when elder veterans in our areas ridicule us and refute our ideas rather than embrace us and instruct us. They point at our ignorance saying, 'Hapana zvamunoziva vafana makakura manje manje. Takakura kare isu', than teaching us what needs to be done. Instead of helping us emulate our leaders' principles and characters as well as adopt their political ideologies they threaten us, 'Mava kuda kungwarisa vafana. Mava kuda kuona. Bhora pasi', while we say 'Bhora mberi', because we put bhora pasi while the enemies are putting bhora mberi and have to be checked on time. Our views are met with strong resistance and when we are instructed to get rid of our mindset we expect it to be substituted with the right one because we have to live with a mindset. Like Jesus said if an evil spirit is cast out of a person, the void must be filled with the Holy Spirit otherwise a worse thing happens to the person. When the substitution doesn't happen, wow our minds easily become corrupted and polluted by imperial banditry and dissidentry ideologies. That's when they say vafana vemazuva ano vakaoma misoro. Maborn free anonetsa. Seizve? Tipeika ruzivo kwarwo tipfumbate because zvikasadaro tinopfumbatiswa bhomba. And when that happens kuti tapfumbata bhomba tisingazive tinobva tarambirira naro chero mamwe mashoko akazouya nekutika hatidi kurasa chiri muhapwa nekusveerera of which chiri muhapwa chacho chakatoipisisa, chinouraya but hatizvizive. Comrades, we need kuti zvitsanangurwe kwatiri izvozvo.
We have a passion for working for this country for free. Hatina basa nemari isu. Hatina basa neupenyu isu. Ko ihwo upenyu hwekutamburira tinohudii? Ko handiti imi vakuru vedu ndihwo hwamakaramba ZANLA ikati kwete, ZIPRA ikati kwete? Ndizvoka zvamakati hazviiti mukabata gidi? Tisu tazoda mari nhasi? Mazuvayo yaisaveko here? Upenyu hwepano pasi kana husingafadze regai tiende kudenga zvakunonzi kune zororo asika hatizviurayiba. We will fight in defence of our liberational gains to the last man! We will never tolerate nonsense in the form of mass actions or boycotts or continued corruption. NO! Nhai imi macomrades nhasi munoti isu tinoda mari, imi pamakarwa maibhadharwa here? Why do you doubt us kuti tinokwanisa kuzviitawo? Of which we are the Joshua generation of the country that must Arise! and defeat the enemy. Sometimes it's necessary to apply measures that will rouse vamwe vedu kubva muhope. What evil is greater than not to accommodate your children in family issues and secrets even after twenty years of age? It's an unnecessary evil that must be removed and we shall call for these ideologies' scrapping until cows come home. When every Zimbabwean becomes conscious that united we stand divided we fall, we shall unite in repossessing our country from the mad pirates and aspirations of the crazy rebel movement and restore it to democratic leaders and then and only then the masses will realize the true personality of the genuine freedom fighter. Ko tingatongwe nehistory yekunzi gore rakati takambokufadzai saka nhasi ifai henyu?? Matakadya kare haanyaradzi mwana veduwee.
