Today is Africa Day where we are supposed to be celebrating our independence from the colonial rulers as Africans, celebrate our diversity, our core existence as different tribes and races found in Africa, but that is not the case today there is lot of conflict in Africa Genocides in most African States have been recorded just remember Zimbabwe's Gukurahundi, Rwanda's Tutsis and Hutus. Etc. We take this opportunity to demand from African Leaders and the rest of World Powers to BRING BACK OUR GIRLS. Who are currently in the hands of Boko Haram? Post-Independence violence where another Tribe rise against another some African states have endured prolonged war against each other talk of Sudan, DRC just to mention but a few.

Thousands and thousands of people have died during ethnicity wars in their Countries. There is a lot of Violence in most African States today as we speak people are killing each other in North Africa, West Africa, East Africa, and Central Africa. Though most of Southern parts of Africa are currently peaceful {SADC} is relatively peaceful Countries like Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique are faced with lots of discontentment some tribes in those Countries are not happy some of them have started calling for Cessation. If things remain like this Africa is faced with a bleak future its unpredictable your guess is as good as mine.

But what is the problem in Africa one may ask? The answer is very simple Marginalisation. People are resorting to violence to try and save themselves from humiliation and unjust treatment. The UN must be strict on Countries that are violating the rights of its citizens. International Human Rights groups must be alert to expose these acts in Africa we have a lot of thugs calling themselves governments. Corruption, nepotism, favouritism, election rigging, tribalism, and Marginalisation of minority groups are the order of the day in Africa. I would like to take this opportunity to salute u Tata Mandela for his ability to unite South Africans. Today South Africa is the envy of all, it is indeed a rainbow Nation. Mandela managed to save South African Lives by uniting people across Races and Tribes. For Africa to move forward we need to begin to vote for people based on their capability and not because of where they come from, or based on Tribe or race.

We need African Governments who are able to unite its own citizens, share the National cake equally, Governments who listen to people and do according to the wishes and aspirations of the people, and a Government which is able to balance ethnic interests of its citizens. We need a government which embrace all of its citizens. As long as we have governments who champions tribalism, race and religion, we are far from Tribal WARs in Africa.  As Africans we should emulate South Africans and other States who have managed to unite its citizens look at their Government it's balanced almost all tribes and races have representation. They also adopted Devolution of poweras their system of governance where they have put in place 9 Provincial governments who manage provincial resources on behalf of local citizens and it's according to tribes and races. Therefore they have minimised tribalism and racism in their Country all local languages are legal and in the Constitution. They have local Radio and Television stations in all the Provinces and they use local language you hardly can see uMzulu leading in Eastern Cape.

Lastly African governments must know that selfishness and greediness is a security threat on its on therefore share the National cake to everyone if you allow only few connected people benefit from the National resources you cause violence. This must stop as we celebrate Africa Day lets embrace Democracy, tolerance and servant leadership. We as Youthsits high time we participate in Decision-making lets stand up and be counted. This is our time let me take this opportunity to congratulate Julius Malema Leader of Economic Freedom Fighters{EFF} for attaining third position in the recent election in just 8 months. as Youths we celebrate with him and EFF victory he has inspired a lot of Young Africans to stand up for their Rights. We should remain resolute in seeking a better Africa we need to fight for our freedom, we demand from all sitting Presidents and governments to provide a fair leadership we want education for all, health for all, employment for all, we want fair and credible elections, access to clean water is our right, we demand our Human Rights in full including right to participate in all elections as voters and candidates. So far African Leaders have failed us they have failed to find solutions to the current wars in Africa. We believe where necessary African leaders must be able to compromise, if African Leaders really want peace they should revisit Colonial boundaries where possible change them to minimise ethnicity cleansing and tribalism sometimesit's in everyone's interest to let go than to kill people over a mere boundary. Marginalisation must be treated as Human Rights abuse.
