The End of Men and the Rise of graceful Women

Zimbabwe Unemployed People's association (ZUPA) which represents the interests of millions of the unemployed and economically disadvantaged people acknowledges the complexities and reasons behind gender imbalances within Zimbabwe's politics and leadership; however we strongly believe that those opposing the rise of the first lady are no different to those who opposed the 50-50 gender parity debate during the constitution making.
It has now emerged to us that the purported moves by some misguided individuals in ZANU PF to block Mai Mugabe were actually the same individuals who were sent during constitution making to block 50-50 representation in parliament and other government organs. As a people we should be looking to address the discrepancy between male and female participation rates in politics and leadership.
Given that we know that participation rates among girls are lower, so the rise of one calls the celebration of all women regardless of political affiliation. A wise person once said, the history of all times, and today teaches that women will be forgotten if they forget to think about themselves.
We call upon both patriotic youths and women led organisations to take to the streets singing songs of solidarity to the first lady and the cause for equality in our society. .Such inequalities must at all-time be condemned and consigned to history once and for all.
The clique chauvinist scheming to fraudulently block or frustrate the leadership or rise of the first lady or any woman must be soon rather than later be exposed and flushed out of political parties including ZANU PF. Such cliques are usually infested with corrupt and rotten factional driven individuals who think they have a sole God given right to leadership and never to follow or contemplate a possibility of a woman president in the very near future of our grate country.
