The MDC National Standing Committee met in Gweru on Sunday 14 June, 2015 and reviewed the state of the nation, particularly the continued economic decline and its negative effect on all spheres of the lives of Zimbabweans and reiterated the party's commitment to the democratisation of Zimbabwe, including by way of working with other democratic forces who share our values and principles.
The committee noted the recent sham by -elections and reiterated the party's long standing decision not to participate in by-elections without the implementation of electoral reforms.
