Warning to Edmore Veterai and the ZRP

Let this ZANU PF functionary called Edmore Veterai who masquerades as an Assistant Police Commissioner be warned today that the progressive people of Matabeleland North province and indeed the whole of Zimbabwe, have had enough of his wanton and deliberately provocative disrespect and suppression of the people's right to assemble as enshrined in the constitution. His expired excuses that he uses to harass the people, leaders including the Prime Minister of the Republic have to stop.The unwarranted and random arrests of MDC activists that continue to happen to this day including that of our Youth President Solo Madzore on cooked up charges of murdering a police officer, and Youth Chair for Victoria Falls District, Innocent Sibanda for putting up posters of a rally are one of the numerous cases of clear abuse of law and interference in politics by a police force that is supposed to be non partisan in its conduct.
We declare that the door of mercy and reconciliation in a new Zimbabwe that will be ushered in at the polls has since closed on him and his team of excited lunatics. If he thinks that the status quo will remain for a long time to come then he is in for a rude awakening. We are going to descend upon him and any other known law abusers with the full weight of the law and make them answerable for their abuse of office and advancement of the ZANU PF agenda instead of focusing on their core mandate of serving and protecting the people. Events in Africa this year have shown what happens to those who are caught on the wrong side of history and let it be known that Zimbabwe is no exception. The people are fed up. We are not afraid of confrontation but treat all law enforcement with the respect they deserve.
We appeal to other like minded overzealous police, army and intelligence operatives to read the writing on the wall. Change is coming to Zimbabwe; our spirits are strong, our resolve unshaken. The police force needs to refuse to be used for unprofessional and unethical conduct as weapons and foot soldiers of a dying horse.
