'We're not tribalists' - Mthwakazi party

MTHWAKAZI REPUBLIC PARTY UPDATE
Morning Mthwakazi omuhle as a party we don't normally respond to unknown people but in this case we just want to set the record straight that we are not tribalists. We an courage our people and any interested person to first of all seek audience with us because we are open to discussion, before he or she publicly accuse MRP of that tribalism nonsense. The author of some stupid letter say all Zimbabweans are suffering and he wants us to join them in removing Mugabe and ZANU PF, what do you say about what MDC-T did to Khuphe? Looking at the Harare party's structures ZANU PF, ZPF, MDC-T, PDP, Mavambo and Mangoma's which one do you want Matabeleland people trust? Which one do you want us to work with since they all believe we are second class citizens? Their problems and ours are not the same. And we repeat we can not work with them without a clear arrangement of how National resources and power will be shared. We will rather form an alliance with ZAPU and MDC.
Firstly we are not tribalists and we don't subscribe to that we vehemently refuse such kind of labelling Mthwakazi State is a unique State with more than 15 languages used and recognised in it, thus why we don't normally use Mthwakazi referring to a particular person or tribe but we refer to a Nation of Mthwakazi. It is therefore malicious for one to suggest that MRP is for a single tribe. It is also untrue that MRP was formed out of anger, no MRP is as a result of carefully planning and we have a vision to see Mthwakazi prosper and its people participating fully in the development of this Nation.
Secondly it is nonsensical for Someone who doesn't understand what we stand for to go public and purport to be our spokesperson. As a party we believe that Matabeleland problems are political problems and they need a political solution thus why we are a party. For someone to claim that we want war it is just propaganda. We are busy setting up structures locally and abroad. We are setting up party structures because we believe that the biggest weapon that is effective is a united people. If we didn't believe in a political solution we wouldn't have been a party that believe so much in people power hence the forming up of party structures everywhere.
Those who accuse us of being tribalists signed thier letter as concerned Zimbabweans, why did you then direct your letter to us? that's also shows that you are seriously in trouble as you said, that you fail even to recognise that it is ZANU PF in power not MRP, direct your concerns to ZANU led government not us. You said you want us to tell you how the New Mthwakazi will look like. The New Mthwakazi will respect the rule of law, there will not be tribalism, there will be no Gukurahundi, no second class citisens, no nepotism, no regionalism, and most importantly we seek to do away with institutionalized corruption like it is currently happening in Zimbabwe. There will be no failed look East policy we will look Global.
Lastly as part of finding a lasting solution to Mthwakazi we are petitioning the Zimbabwean government and we say enough is enough we launched the petition in South Africa a few weeks ago and we are launching it again in Bulawayo in August where we will announce the official launch of the process of signing the petitions which will accompany other documents and will be sent to Zimbabwe, UN, AU, Britain, SADC. Etc. Gukurahundi remains an unfinished business and until justice is delivered to the victims it remains unsolved. In December we will have our first Congress where we will officially endorse all the plans before they are executed. We seek to unite all Mthwakazi people across the Globe and all inputs are important and we don't take lightly any suggestions. All the above are peaceful means. We take an exception to people who just decides to disturb our party by labeling us Tribalists. We are not and we will never be.
