Gwanda residents have grilled the legislators who visited the mining town in Reserve Bank and Procurement laws consultation over the introduction of bond notes.

The residents Association spokesperson Bekezela Fuzwayo said he had a tough day fighting the legislators going out of sorts to steal from the people who are poor by bringing these Bond Notes that are coming in to swipe all the cash from them and eventually leave them with the valueless papers as they did in 2008.

"In the morning in Gwanda I was in a hot debate with David Chapfika who politicised economics so much that he was short of saying "Pamberi NeZANU PF" as he tried to justify Bond Notes. Later I was captured in this video by Crisis In Zimbabwe Coalition in Bulawayo telling Kasanda Sibanda to quit his job at the RBZ than agree to be used the way he is being used," he said.

"The gentleman sweated to near collapse, biting his tongue failing to tell us anything of substance about these Bond Notes. I looked at him and felt pity for him trying very hard to makes us believe something which he himself evidently didn't believe in."

He said it is sadly these highly positioned people like Champfika and Sibanda who agree to destroy the country by agreeing to have their brains put into captivity so much that they agree to embarrass themselves in public trying to justify things they know 100% to be very retrogressive.

"No economy in the world run by declarations and decrees has ever succeeded. A functional economy is guided by basic economic factors and fundamentals not decrees, not unclear justifications and explanations with political jargon and gibberish. Never," he said.

"These people should just stop taking the whole 15 million of us for fools by trying to convince us that a brick is a loaf of bread. Bond Notes are not money. Real money is never campaigned for it gets into the system and functions. For all we know the Zim Dollar was demonetised and right now nothing is in place to justify a return to the Zim Dollar in any form or name worse under the same hands that sloganeered the dollar to extinction."

Fuzwayo said he took a challenge with Champfika that he must come back to the people in Gwanda on the 1st December 2017.

"We do a review of the effects of this Bond Note which he tried so hard to put make up on. I will stick to the challenge and with all certainty we all know that the country will be back in the economic ICU because of learned bootlickers like these gentlemen who agree to be used to destroy the country simply to make sure Zanu PF remains in power no matter what it takes," he said.

"We are tired of being governed by lies. Can we be realistic for once and do things right, truthfully and transparently to build a new Zimbabwe. Sikhathele seriously."
