Mthwakazi activist Hloniphani Ncube has said the reasoning behind why Advocate Nelson Chamisa (MDC-T) must not be voted by the people of Matebeleland or even be allowed space to address them is that his elevation is influenced by keeping in line with the 1979 grand plan.
He said those who remember very well and those who follow political events specifically pertaining to MDC T's last congress Chamisa was dismally defeated to be the Secretary General of the party by Douglas Mwonzora.
"Tsvangirai towards his departure decided to put this chap in so as to avoid a Deputy president constitutionally elected to even act as the President of the opposition party because she had the Ndebele blood running in her veins," he said.
"Chamisa is a deployee of ZANU PF just like Morgan Tsvangirai, hence he understand the founding principles of ZANU PF which are built upon hatred towards the people of Matebeleland which saw the people of Mashonaland being socialised to perceive themselves as the majority and to view the Ndebele people as dissidents and second class citizens who are supposed to be forced economically and socially to return to South Africa. The word dissidents was firstly used by ZANU PF in 1980s when Gukurahundi was at its climax. Chamisa is a family lawyer of Mnangagwa and his father is a staunch ZANU PF supporter who once labelled Nkomo as the leader of dissidents."
He said just like Tsvangirai, Chamisa cannot pronounce a single word in Ndebele.
"Just look he has guts to give an altimatum to constitutionally elected leaders, without even considering that he came through the back door. Hence, thus why previously I strongly opposed the idea that Tsvangirai is the father of democracy if one understand what democracy is. A constitutional delinquency who violated the constitution several times over riding the constitution, editing constitution to extend his term, a womaniser and appointing leaders in violation of his constitution, surely it's madness to label such a novice the father of democracy," Ncube said.
