Drama at business centre as sisters bash shopkeeper

There was drama at Maninji Business Centre, Mayobo where three sisters teamed up to assault a shopkeeper after accusing her of dating the shop owner.
The trio took turns to assault the shopkeeper there by bringing business at the shop to a stand still.
Only one woman Nyarai Mpofu has since been arrested and the her sisters are still at large.
Mpofu was dragged to Plumtree magistrate court yesterday where she appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
The state led by Selestine Madziwa alleged on January 6 Nyarai teamed up with her two sisters and pounced on Noliwe Mpofu who is a shopkeeper at Owen Ndebele's shop and accused her of dating the shop owner.
They took turns to assault her with fists , button stick and one of the sisters pulled a knife threatening to stab her on the chest and she blocked it there by stabbing her on the hand.
The matter continues on February 18.
