Cellphone thief in trouble

A Plumtree man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a neighbour's home and stole a mobile phone.
Malvern Chikomo appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware facing a charge of unlawful entry and was granted US$50 bail.
Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi told the court that on 21 December last year, around 1am, Chikomo broke into the home of Netiwe Chinguva and stole a Samsung cellphone valued at US$100.
Police later recovered the stolen phone.
