The San family in Sanqinyana , Tsholotsho is appealing fo financial and material support to repatriate the body of their daughter who died in South Africa on Novemberr 1 after short illness.

This was revealed by the director of Tsoro-o-tso San Development Trust, Davy Ndlovu who said the deceased is Genesis Tshuma.

"On the 1st of November 2016, Tshuma Genesis from Sanqinyana (San/Tjwa) community, left this world, she was only 23 years old. Genesis Tshuma, like many young Zimbabwe came to South Africa to try her luck on the job market, unfortunately, she got sick and passed away," Ndlovu said.

"Her mother Linah Moyo and father Siyengo Tshuma are typical San families, they have no money, cows, goats or anything. Their wish as loving parents was to pay their last respect to their daughter who is no more. Their biggest challenge is that they do not have passports to come to SA and no many also."

Ndlovu said before she met with death, she was staying with her two sisters who are now faced with the challenge of raising enough money to repatriate her remains back to Zimbabwe.

"Coming from the San families, they also do not have the networks that some people have, they have only each other and some very few friends from their area who tries to console and comfort them in their time of sorrow and bereavement," he said.

"The family back home asked me to come and assist in any way possible and I'm appealing to you guys for assistance in cash and kind. Linah Moyo, Genesis's mother is so devastated and her wish is to see her baby daughter for the last time and that can be possible with your help."
