Spanish Newspaper Highlights TB Joshua's International Expansion
Influential Spanish media outlet 'IDEAL' have highlighted Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua's expanding international outreach in their latest issue.
In an article titled, 'The Scourge Of Evil', writer Gerardo Elorriaga focuses on Joshua's recent visits to Latin America where his popularity is rapidly on the increase.
"The life of a God fearing person can change when TB Joshua's hands hit his forehead," the article begins, recounting the various reactions of people to Joshua's thunderous prayers, as can be viewed on his Christian television channel Emmanuel TV.
The cleric's crusade last month in the Aztec Stadium in Mexico allegedly attracted a crowd of 200,000 over the course of two days, following a similar 'Miracle Crusade' held in Cali, Colombia last year. Many purportedly received their healing from various ailments.
The article chronicles Joshua's uncanny rise to global relevance from a poverty-stricken home in Ondo State, Nigeria, to an internationally sought after minister of God.
It notes the uncanny irony that hundreds of years ago, Nigerians were among those sent in chains of slavery to the same nations that are now celebrating and seeking Joshua's prayers.
IDEAL is the largest and oldest newspaper circulating in the province of Granada, the south of Spain.
