eNyathi crisis is Gukurahundi disguising as illegal mining

As MLF we would like to express our displeasure on the silence of the government of Zimbabwe over the reported attacks on ENyathi residents by the illegal miners and settlers from Mashonaland, right in their backyards. This to us, is the Gukurahundi disguising as illegal miners.

There is no way the government could be as quiet for all these days yet people are being killed like flies for an illegal operation and worse in their homes.

For starters the government of Mugabe illegalised mining by unlicensed miners which means these killers should have been barred by the authorities from conducting such operations there but simply because they are Shona, the authorities gave it a blind eye. Now they are hunting down the residents of that place still nothing is said.

Nowhere in the world would a government keep quite while people are being killed particularly considering that such attacks could result in residents fighting back in their defense and end up with many people dead.

The quietness by the government of Mugabe is simply a shame that exposes its evil plan of trying to silence by death, all efforts of condemning its forced and continued rule of Mthwakazi as well as its looting techniques.

On that note, we say the Injury to the people of Nyathi is an Injury to Mthwakazi as a whole. Therefore let no Mthwakazi person folds his/her hands and watch from the sidelines. There is no home that does not have an axe, knobkerries, machete, okapi or a catapult in Mthwakazi, so them up, defend your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, resources and your territory.
