Where is the Ndebele King's Council?

23 Aug 2017 at 07:40hrs | Views
There are rumours that a king will be coronated soon, an eyebrow needs to be raised with such news on the way. The situation looks ridiculous, this king who ever it will be will be nak*d. We have never heard of a king without a council, at least one person, the ear of the people, somebody who represents the views of the people at the moment and take these views to the king. This person needs to be elected by the people of Mthwakazi. How else will this king know how the people feel. By being elected periodically he is current with what people want or they would not elect him, he advises the king and the king takes his advice. If people do not like it they elect somebody else.

Where is this king going to get land from, this land must be tilled, it can not just be there for show, it must be used, tilled and used for grazing. Izi\nduna zenkosi must make sure the king has land, he cannot receive the land from the government in Harare, unless the land is already there, once coronated he must receive land from iziNduna zakhe, only fair. IziNduna zakhe will have to make sure the land is tilled and utilized fully and productively, that's an income the proper use of land.

And who is going to protect this king, iziduna zakhe will have to provide volunteers who will work out the reward for protecting the king. A Protection unit, at least 50 - 100 people will have to be created, Nqama or whatever name these people will take have to fall under the Nlebe yeNkosi, and donated by those whose status was created for the protection of the said king, iziNduna zenkosi, these people can be the same as those who help with tilling the land and grazing the land and his children will be expected to serve in protecting their father for a set time period, at least when they are 18, being a body guard, that's all Nwama would be. A King can't be nak*d, and in this day and age he works with consultation with voices of the people. He is first and foremost a symbol of Mzilikazi and his desires, and not a symbol of power, and thus he can not be complete until the people of Mthwakazi create a process where by the Nlebe yeNkosi is elected, the one who tells the king what the people are thinking and how the people want to proceed.

In reality with the breakdown of law and order in society, every iNduna should have protection unit of 30 - 50 young men, catch the illegal gold panners and hand them over to the police, those taking land illegally when locals have no land, the police are called, those hunting illegally, help the overstretched police. These volunteers will only volunteer in the long term if the land is tilled and cattle graze, that's money, some reward for doing a tough duty. And every year they march at Mhlahlandlela and best marchers are chosen.

Of course, iziNduna report to the elected inldebe Yenkosi about problems being encountered and he advises the king on how best he should act according to the peoples wishes.

We don't understand a nak*d king, we will not see him as fully a king until inDlebe Yenkosi is chosen by the people to advise the king on the best action forward. Nobody wants and overbearing anybody over them, one can see this in North and South Korea. North Korea bad system, poor and government is overbearing and always looking for attention. South Korea, wealthy, nobody starves, technology leader because social system allows people to respect knowledge, and instead of shouting threats to hide their incompetence, they give the world, Hyundai, Samsung, and other technologically innovative companies.

We need a society organized such that Mthwakazi will fulfill the potential of researching and creating goods and services. The people decide way forward not one man, and that symbol can not be left naked, he needs to eat and be protected and know what the people are thinking. The king and the people can have a lasting relationship as long as nobody becomes overbearing, together the strongest society possible can be created, a society understanding for survival they need to produce goods and services competing against technology created and researched in countries whose economies are in the multi trillions, oppression will break down the discipline, the people must take the lead, the king a reminder of a Founder of a Nation.

The legal system and the culture must be simple, based on everybody being equal before the law even if we all have different duties.
