Confidence in opposition politics?

07 Nov 2017 at 10:26hrs | Views
I am yet to be convinced, yet I believe in a new political field and change that it will happen in our lifetime. Taking a step back, I just wonder -is there a leader, amongst us, who is people centric? All I see and hear is power struggles and not even one who can unite the opposition for the main goal which is to bring change in our nation. All they want is power and power and how many sits will members of my party get if we form a coalition. There is no sense of responsibility or nationhood nor brotherhood entrapped in hearing the needs of the suffering Zimbabweans who live in dire poverty down there in the remote areas. These people have been maginalized for so long. The only thing we want is there vote. So wonder why people are generally reluctant to register to vote and mores to go and vote. They have not seen the fruits of any government - although it is just one since we attained independence in 1980. So, for them it is the same game as no one listens nor fulfill any of their promises, It is just mere preaching and no result so why bother indeed. This is ridiculous, this political atmosphere needs to change, its needs grown up not just body but mature minds who are not just educated but learned. We need servant leadership, we want people who are there to work even without pay, even without allowances - and those extravagant cars while the majority are dying in poverty. You not even ashamed of yourselves?

The fear that people have has been the major drive of Mugabe's win and yes we have succumbed to it. We can still move forward as a nation and say no to dictatorship, demand our rights- freedom of speech, right to vote the person of my choice, right to human dignity, right to have access to clean water and sanitation, right to human dignity. Down with dictators and their shenanigans. We as a nation can move these selfish idiots out of our offices where they sleep or use as chatting grounds instead of working for building the nation. Lets rise and vote for our future and the future of our children. Lets rise to rebuild Zimbabwe. For how long shall we continue to beg while we are the producers - this has to stop and our vote is the way forward.

The dignity of our humanity begins to shed off the day we allowed the powers of insanity to control or rather defeat the powers of wisdom and let alone the powers enshrined in love. Love thy neighbor as yourself. Maybe it is time we inform the madman that he is actually mad and it is time to impart him with wisdom, for it is only wisdom that can demolish madness and insanity. We have not questioned ourselves, this very question I ponder each and every time I walk in the streets of Harare, particularly first street, why have I not heard nor needless should I say see the president who among others fought for this freedom of our nation ever walk in this street? Is he afraid or just does not know where it is? Why can we not see or even walk side by side with our leader in the streets, why cant he be made to see the reality of our lives, why is he fed with lies, rumors and above all why does he not trust his people? It is clear he is not one of us and yet he leads us, yet we allow him to push and shove us all he likes- it has to end and never shall we be subjected to such a life style and rule again.  I yearn for love, I cry for freedom, I cry for human dignity, I cry harmony and peace, I cry for an ideal society where we live together not looking at my neighbor's skin color, ethnicity, political affiliation or wealth but as a person just like me born and bread by the love of a mother. I hope to see true ideal democratic free society in which indeed we all have  equal opportunity, a society where not only ministers and their cohorts are rich and continue to prey on the poor and impoverished. A society where the rich and powerful are subjected to the rule of law and protection as everyone. Together, let us build a Zimbawe we want and we are proud of. And on this day we shall celebrate the birth of a new era in a new Zimbabwe.

We can be loud and speak out the truth and make our voices heard and with the voice of the international community such an act has an impact. We have recently done so and we can again do so to protect our land from the unscrupulous rulers. The revoking of Mugabe from the WHO GOODWILL ambassador is just the beginning of the coming biggest defeat we can launch and bring our freedom back. Now he spills his anger from all this and the fact that people have shown him they are tired by booing to his wife at a rally, through the recent sacking of ED Mnangagwa. Well, ED saw it coming and he must be jumping up with joy for finally being free from the yoke of troubles and is another blessing to our cause in filling the opposition basket. Believe you me, madam stop it is preaching well and it is indeed time to stop the ruining PF from running the affairs of our nation. They are in actual fact empowering Zimbabweans for our voice and suffering is being heard and our ancestors are suffering and fighting with us. Now in addition to Mujuru we have just gained Mnangagwa who by the way must apologise first for his evil deeds and accept to be part of a changing Zimbabwe. We will need all their support base and they must be prepared to be part of the national coalition to rebuild Zimbabwe.

We want our human dignity, social and economic freedom, love and empowerment the children of this land deserve, our breadbasket portfolio and credibility to our education system, research prospects and above all access to health care facilities, access to clean water and sanitation facilities, bring back the smiles of the sunshine city. Yes Yes Yes we can, above all odds we can succeed and each and every Zimbabwean must stand for freedom of all, for a corrupt free society, stand against nepotism, stand against humiliation, stand against intimidation, fight for our civil rights and justice, equal distribution of resources and fight for OUR LAND, fight for ZIMBABWE. And to the opposition or prospective leaders, I urge you to fight the common enemy, the poverty killing all of us and to unite for the sake of Love, for their is no greater glorious gift than love.
