The Importance of having a purpose in Life

The purpose of life is a life of purpose-Robert Byrne.
What is purpose?
Purpose can be defined as the original intent that God created you for. Purpose is that one thing that God intends you, and only you to fulfill and bring to fruition. Purpose is the inherent and innate knowledge about who you were born to become, and should become-Billy Selekane.
How important is it to know your purpose?
Purpose is the guiding light and truth in your life; therefore it is very important for you to pursue it.
- Through purpose you get to know why you are here on earth at this time and in the form that you are in.
- You also get the confidence that you are living the life that God meant for you to live.
- Your purpose will also build resilience in you when things do not go as planned. Your purpose involves your whole being -your mind, your will, your heart and your spirit.
You must realize that purpose is really and essentially a compass for your life, it points towards the right direction for your life.
What is it that you and only you have been brought to this earth for?
- Find your purpose.
- Unlock your purpose.
Questions that may assist you in discovering your purpose
1) Who am I? This will compel you to think about your background, belief system, ethics, spirituality, and your life in its entirety.
2) Why am I? This question ties your circumstances, background, ethics, and others to your reason of being or living.
3) What do I value in life? This refers to what is important in your life? This could be your family, career, work or social activities and others.
4) What do I like and enjoy in life? These are the things that bring joy to your life. These could include sport, people, music, finance, running and so forth.
5) What do you want to achieve in life? This question will show you the area in which you should be focused in terms of dedicating your time, education, skills and intellect.
Don't be fooled, there are no secrets to success. Success is the result of purpose, preparation, hard work and learning from failure.
