Mujuru our choice, come rain come thunder

Revolutionary greeting dear comrades. The elections are drawing closer and closer by day. Our future is pendulously hanging in the balances. However, what is very comforting is the reality that, we are the authors of our future. The constitution has bestowed upon us the right to choose those we want to lead us. I hope we wont live to regret for the next five years for choosing hyenas and lions to look after us.
I have a belief that the Zimbabwean eletorate is mature and well informed. We have suffered enough under the misleadership of Zanu PF. We have suffered persecution, unemployment, poor wages and salaries leading to poor standards of living. What is disturbing though, is how a nation of literate people can be fooled for 38 years by one party and a few individuals. Perhaps we lack political education hence our ill-informed choices in the balot box. If we are not ill-informed, then Zanu PF has bewitched us and we are nothing less than their zombies. One will be forgiven for thinking that Zimbabwe is Zanu PF and Zanu PF is Zimbabwe. We have allowed Zanu PF to treat our country like a personal farm. We are as a result, treated like farm workers and animals in the farm. I hope 2018 is going to restore our human dignity and drive Zanu PF to political oblivion.
Zimbabwe is a minerologically rich country furnished with knowledge human capital. It has good agricultural land, hence it was once the bread basket of Southern Africa. However, the bread basket has turned to a basket case. What is it that Zimbabwe lacks? The answer to this question is not far fetched; Zimbabwe lacks real leaders who have the interests of the people at heart. It lacks transformational leaders who honestly subscribe to servant leadership. The few transformational leaders we have lose the elections because they are not populist in rhetoric and style. We truly have an eye for hyenas and lions, because that is what we choose in the balot. When the hyenas and lions start feeding on our flesh who shall we blame?
Mnangagwa has been part of Zanu for more than 38 years and he is Zanu PF and Zanu PF is Mnangagwa. He was the mastermind mind behind Gukurahundi, the 2008 stolen election and recently, the 2017 coup. I honestly dont believe in repentance of political leaders. Believing in their repentance is akin to believing in the repentance of a hyena to a holy animal that is now friends with its prey. Mnangagwa is the same, yesterday, tomorrow and and forever. For the love of power he committed the coup that elevated him to the highest office in Zimbabwean politics. Can he peacefully give away the same power he was willig to kill for? Can he concede defeat when in 2008 he compeled Mugabe not to concede defeat and unconstitutionally hang in power?
Chamisa is nothing better than Mnangagwa. He is a Zanu PF son who is very loyal to his family. He once represented Mnangagwa's company, Zuva against the workers. Its clear he has no interests of the workers at heart. He has business dealings with the Mugabes and it is rumoured that he has been having nicodimus meetings with them. If MDC alliance wins wont we see the resurgency of the G40 within its ranks? Wont MDC alliance resurrect the almost defunct Zanu PF faction? Honourable Chamisa is also a certified lier. Is he truly a man of God who lies on the pulpit? His populist rhetoric which is littered with lies is truly gospel from hell. It will never resurrect Zimbabwe nor resuscitate the economy.
It is a pity that the electorate seem to have good taste of populism. Populism which in most cases is coupled with ideological bankrupcy has gained currency in Zimbabwean poitics. It is the mark of political excellency. Those that promise us heaven on earth and houses floating in the air, are viewed as the greatest leaders. One wonders what politics in Zimbabwean context is? Yes, politics in Zimbabwe is efficiently organising support (by hook or crook) coupled with effectively hunting and gathering for wealth. If you cannot achieve the above two, then you are a politician whose worthness is in oblivion. Politics is thus a dirty game because we choose dirty people to rule us. We choose the Judas Iscarionts to run our economy, forgetting that they have insatiable apetite for money and wealth in general. They can even sell us to the west or east to accumulate more wealth.
As NPP and PRC alliance, we are wholly behind cde Joyce Mujuru's pesidential candidature. We believe she has a clean political record and a wealth of political experience. Zimbabwe is truly ready for a female president. Women have been emancipated, they have been freed from the domestic sphere and ready to occupy the mains stream political domain. The Chamisa's might think women are nothing better than the instruments of production and reproduction, but the truth remains that they are capable vehicles of change. As we celebrate femininity, let us vote for Joice Mujuru who can resuscitate our economy and revive contitutionalism. Cde Mujuru is our golden candidate, let us all rally behind her for a better Zimbabwe. Your wise vote can redeem Zimbabwe from the economic and political abyss it is currently in.
