Hundreds if not thousands of people have lost their hard earned cash to bogus real estate agents and fraudulent housing cooperatives with no hope of recovery. Banks on the other side have done little to alleviate the situation by building more affordable houses, they can provide the missing link.
Available mortgage schemes are a pie in the sky for many since most of the home seekers cannot raise the required deposits. In light of the aforementioned government and the private sector must seriously consider providing houses under schemes of zero deposits.

Government should get involved in housing matters big time to avoid a slow down and unscrupulous tendencies from those involved. A few years ago many people lost thousands to the government initiated Pay-For-Your-House Scheme that was meant to benefit low earners. Housing tenancy takes away dignity and freedom, provide houses to the people.
