South Africa hosts Matebeleland Gukurahundi genocide conference

1893 Mthwakazi (Matebeleland) Human Rights Restoration Movement (1893 MHRRM) student wing would like to invite the Public to participate in the Matebeleland Gukurahundi Genocide Conference to be held on Saturday 1st December 2018. Below is the Venue and Time of The Conference
Venue: Wits University Parish Hall/ Holly Trinity Catholic Church Hall
16 Stiemens St, Braamfontein Johannesburg, South Africa
Time: 11:00am to 2:30pm
The theme of the conference is: Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide: A deliberate and calculated delay of South Africa's Freedom.
Topics such as the current on-going genocide in Matebeleleland in all its various forms and how RSA can play a crucial role in assisting Matebeleland people to seek Truth, Justice, Reparations, Freedom and Healing for the Genocide will be handled.
Expected Guest Speakers are:
• Moses Mzila Ndlovu
• Prof Peter (Wits University)
• Dr Zulu (University of Johanneburg)
• Dr N Ngwenya (UNISA)
• Umkhonto weSizwe Rep
• Zipra Rep
Moderator will be Ayanda Manala.
Guest speakers will be from both South Africa and Matabeleland and will include liberation icons and academics.
A platform will also be open to all invited participants to comment on the subject and raise important questions as per presentations. We hope that all media houses we invited will also attend to cover the event.
