In 1964 in Oslo Norway Dr King was awarded the Nobel Prize for great work he did which was birthed from his passion to see equality in the nation of America despite your race ,color, tribe.Few people including Dr .King expected that black man could actually win the Nobel prize. It was a triumphant and an historic moment. This what Dr King said ,"For the last 10 days ,l have been on a literal mountaintop having transfiguring experiences. We've had the privilege of meeting and talking with kings and queens, meeting and talking with prime ministers of nations ,meeting and talking with the humble people of the land.l wish l could stay on this mountaintop.l wish l could stay here tonight ,but the valley calls me.There are those who need hope. There are those who need to find a way out.As l go back to this valley,l go back with a faith.l go back with a faith that truth and justice will rise again.l go back with a faith that the wheels of the gods grind slowly , but exceedingly fine.l go back with the faith that you shall reap what you sow. With that faith,l go back to the valley." In other ways Dr King taught us about the pain and promise, renewed faith, love ,courage.Let us begin with energy and hope ,with faith and discipline ,let us not quit until our work is done. The Bible says ," Let us not grew weary in doing good ,for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."Martin Luther King Jr. never lost heart.
Please don't give up . Renew your mind . Giving up is the state of the mind."Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained " once said , Marie Curie. Keep trying until you have no more chances left .If you can't go straight ahead, you go around the corner. As long you are not quitting . The journey to your dreamland will need you to focus . Never let presence situation determine your tomorrow . Receiving a jab / knock out does not mean you are out of the race . Mind set is the battle field of life . If you visit cemeteries , some graves can't cope with the potential they are holding which can't be reproduced again . Utilize the time now . Don't kill yourself ? You don't need to die . Resist the suicidal mindset . You have solutions to problems your community is facing . Lack of food / sleeping without eating doesn't mean you are useless or end of life . There is no "Hero" without a story to tell . Poverty will not stop you to achieve what you are ordained for in life .First you have to perform in the now, in this very moment. There will never be another now, so you have to make it matter. You have to ask yourself, What am I doing today that will move me forward in the future? Dwelling on the past will not change the future any more than dreaming about the future will secure your place in it. Life is a day-by-day mission, the execution of a series of choices over time.
Never give up , never never give up my darling sister /brother . Win the battle of the mind . The true giant in you is not asleep , is ready for next assignment . Don't let negative people determine your tomorrow . It was the 1870's. Somewhere in a workshop in New Jersey, Thomas Alva Edison was burning the midnight oil, trying to create a light bulb. He tried several experiments - all without success. He just couldn't get it right. His failures became the talk of the town and the story goes that after he had failed for the 500th time, a journalist interviewed him and asked him, "Mr. Edison, how does it feel to have failed 500 times? Why don't you just give up?" "No, no, young lady," replied Edison. "I haven't failed 500 times. I have just discovered 500 ways it won't work. I am so much closer now to finding a way that will work!" And sure enough, in 1879, Edison invented the filament light bulb, an invention that changed the world. By the time he died, the 'man-who-failed-500-times' had 1024 patents to his credit, and had founded the iconic General Electric company. But Edison's real contribution to mankind went beyond all this. He showed us the power of perseverance, the virtue of learning from your failures, and the magic of never giving up. Failure is not optional but out of the syllabus of your success. Go back to the drawing board To succeed, one must learn to embrace failure, and not be scared by it. Failure holds valuable lessons for us - if only we are willing to learn. Thomas J Watson, the founder-chairman of IBM offers valuable advice: "If you want to succeed, double your rate of failure." Don't dwell on your failures. Don't play the blame game. Don't doubt your ability. Learn from your mistakes. Re-focus on your goals. And keep going .
A group of school children once asked Sir Winston Churchill what he thought was the secret of success. Churchill's response? Just seven words. "Never give up. Never, never give up! As babies, we cry and scream until we get what we want. Never lose sight of your goals. Sooner or later, there is bound to be light. I know and I believe I will meet you soon in the corridors of champions celebrating your success. Never give up .
