Unity stands for peace in the presence of conflict, love in the presence of hatred, and forgiveness in the presence of injury. Unity stands for peace in our lifetime, harmony /agreement, freedom, happiness and everything good.
In South Africa it is now vice versa; Fellow continent men are busy killing a fellow black man for not being a South African. Why do you kill a fellow brother? My fellow continent men let not think in a box. You kill a fellow human being as if you are killing a chicken. Shame on you. Let's learn to respect humankind. Let God take his chair as the final taker of life, not a fellow man. I can't expect this from a fellow
black man. It makes other continents to mock Africa. This shows the last degree of no heart for other fellow African. During the apartheid regime fellow continent, men were not sleeping thinking about how they can set free SA. You are now free you see a fellow African as an enemy. What goes around comes around? Africa lets stand up and say no to Xenophobia. We cant watch our fellow brothers and sisters being killed like flies.
Who is behind for foreigners to be killed? As much we have bad Zimbabweans, Nigerians, etc same to SA. Let the law take its justice. I condemn drug traffickers, armed robbers, and murderers who kill innocent souls. Politicians don't use the xenophobia as a tool of campaigning to win the hearts of local people so you can win forthcoming elections. You were folding your hands all along, now you want to address the issue. That's main cancer with all African politicians when elections are nearer. Why all the time when South Africa is now nearer election xenophobia occurs. What does it solve killing innocent souls because you want to avenge your grievances towards unemployed? The Gupta's looted South Africa but you avenge to cent-less black men. South Africa is a haven for all dangerous criminals. Instead of creating policies which curb crimes. The politicians in SA are busy sowing hurtrage between South Africans and fellow continent men. There are many Pakistans, Indians, and whites but the main culprits are always fellow Africans. During the apartheid regime fellow continent stood with SA.Why now; being killed because you are a foreigner from Africa? The Likes of John Dube, John Slovo, Albert Luthuli, etc are turning in their graves. South Africa is the industrial hub of Africa and it is tremendous of context to hear issues of Xenophobia .The government in South Africa should deal with corruption. Avail good policies in SA. Who is behind the Eskom downfall, The Venda Bank heist, the government tender scams/corruption? You will point the finger to the foreigners. Most of the people in Africa have endured hardships, unrest, civil wars, drought. Some of its people to the extent of walking for some days in search of water and have motivated young Africans to go overseas/ SA to seek greener pastures..We need the relationship to transform our continent.
Let us shift our mindset. The Europeans, Chinese, Arabs, and Americans are still taking from Africa!!! 14 African Countries Forced by France to Pay Colonial Tax For the Benefits of Slavery and Colonization. Yes, the world is now one global village. South Africans need to know that the foreigner is not a problem. The problem is their government who enjoy eating and winning in hotels not upgrading policies which point to the betterment of its people. Most people are blanketed in graduation gowns, big shopping malls, skyscraper buildings, spaghetti roads while swimming in mortgages and loans. Poverty at its high levels. They don't have the country ownership. Few people are controlling the wealth but they avenge their problems to fellow continent men. If foreigners are committing crimes craft laws which will severely punishes those who will break the law. Have a law which will protect the locals in business . The government should put a law which will eradicate guns and crimes.
One of the important questions that have arisen, in the context of these despicable events in South Africa over the last week, is: why are poor, black South Africans attacking other poor, black Africans? If indeed the issue is about the problem of general illegal immigrants, why is it that only foreign nationals of African origin are being attacked? Could there be more to this than just the much bandied-about issue of socio-economic frustration among South Africans?
The blood of these innocent souls shall avenge against those perpetrators. You can't kill the spirit, the spirit will not die.lam not really comfortable my fellow continent-men the way we treat each other. Africans Heads of States please fight poverty, diseases, develop your citizens, utilize the God-given resources to beautify your nations, protect your citizens, upgrade the standard of living. Why is AU quite about the issue of Xenophobia in SA? We can't watch our fellow continent brothers and sisters being killed in South Africa. What is so special about being South Africa? We are all blacks from Africa only differ in geographical location. Politicians should concentrate on betterment of its citizens not to be greedy . Africa needs good policies, not the existing toxic ones which block development. We are one people whether black/white. Let us eradicate the cancer of racism, human suffering, and xenophobic attacks. We are one people. Let us stand United and let Love prevail.
