Spirited efforts to smear Mthwakazi leadership
18 Jul 2019 at 21:27hrs | Views
There has been a spirited effort in the past few days by known and unknown MDC members and sympathizers on social media networks as well as some online publications to smear campaign the Leadership of the people's revolutionary party Mthwakazi Republic Party MRP.
The MDC tribalists and their backers have been busy issuing inflammatory statements against MRP, suggesting that the Leadership of the party is either ZANU PF, or CIO project in some cases it was suggested that some of the leadership members dates CIO.
We view such statements as frivolous and vexatious, and we thank our members and supporters for ignoring such comments, the party remain focused, steadfastly in pursuit of the Restoration Agenda. We are not under any obligation to babysit the chaotic and tribalistic MDC, they have messed up Bulawayo and they must carry their cross. No amount of vilification and propaganda will stop us from exercising our constitutional rights in defense of our city.
The enemies of the party think that by smearing our leadership anything will change, logical people out there know that the number one enemy of ZANU PF is Mthwakazi people and their leadership, needless to state that MDC Chamisa's headache is none other than the MRP. It is public knowledge that MDC is a beneficiary of a protest vote our people voted for MDC against ZANU PF which is gulty of slaughtering our innocent people during the Gukurahundi genocide.
Now that our people now have their MRP, MDC is nolonger an option. The Kambarami brigade's chaotic handling of affairs at BCC coupled with the poor handling of MDC Bulawayo provincial congress that so mostly Shona people winning the disputed vote has made the MDC unpopular in Matabeleland, I had a discussion yesterday with 3 Bulawayo Councillors who confirmed that all is not well in the MDC, the councillors told me they will not seek re-election under the MDC in 2023 many disgruntled MDC members have since been showing kin interest in joining MRP while others have already joined.
We really understand the MDC tribalists members frustration. We would like to state that we stand by our President Mqondisi Moyo, Vice-president Presia Ngulube and the entire national executive, we regard the statement that they are CIO as a compliment, the struggle continues.
We so far are happy with President Mqondisi Moyo and his team's performance. Hands off our Leadership.
