Douglas Mwonzora has lost his political campus

06 Oct 2020 at 13:22hrs | Views
Zanu PF political elite's Frankenstein monster was hatched after years of incubation.

All what is happening today started manifesting long back, during the time when former late Army General Vitalis Zvinavashe publicly declared that the army was not going to salute any leader without war credentials.

It is now crystal clear that this military rule has now captured Mr Douglas Mwonzora and Thokozani Khupe.

When a leopard wants to devour its cubs it first accuses them of smelling like goats. We are now towards elections and decimating the opposition is on steroids.

Its a very sad scenario where opposition politicians like Douglas Mwonzora and Thokozani have fallen trap to the Zanu PF shenanigans by joining and working in cahoots with its leaders to derail the people's struggle.

Sooner or later Mr Douglas Mwonzora and Thokozani Khupe will realise that they have been thrown under the bus by Zanu PF.

The voters are likely to send the two into political dust bins if the 2014 structures are to be followed where voters will cast their votes freely and fairly without any intimidation.

Their insatiable appetite to get into a coalition government and assume political posts in Zanu PF government has been exposed. They are actually enablers to the unfashionable creation of a one party state.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa job to creat such has been made easier by using Thokozani Khupe and Douglas Mwonzora.

Soon the people will pull the rug off their feet. Their chief strategists and sympathisers are sweating for solutions, hence all these recalls. They have been given money to decimate the life of the opposition.Time is not on their side.

However the higher the monkey climbs up the tree the more it exposes its bottom. The government mouth pieces like ZBC-TV and The Herald have been giving more airplay to these two. A thing which is not common in Zimbabwe.

Resources are directed towards decimating the opposition instead of reviving the economy.

Mr Douglas Mwonzora has lost political his political campus.

Recalling members of parliament by the Douglas, will not legitimise Emmerson Mnangagwa's  Presidency, instead it will cements the fact that he is more illegitimate.

Genuine opposition is what is required in our parliament, not Douglas and his money making schemers. Sellouts Thokozani Khupe and Douglas Mwonzora knows
that their time is now limited and are likely to become ordinary card carrying member after the Extra Ordinary Congress. So Zanu PF is gambling in order to grab some seats during by elections which are likely to be suspended by  Zimbabwe Electoral Commission under the instruction of  Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who is doubling as the Mimister of Health.

The irony behind it , is the way how the Minister is involved in electoral issues instead of giving recommendations.
Surprisingly Zanu PF had its primary elections last week.  They fear of another defeat.

These continued recalls are of no consequence to the MDC Alliance but are damaging Mr Mwonzora's political career. The man is hated so much that he cannot move around without security. It's not a secret that he is getting orders from the ruling party.

There is so much harping about the chaos in MDC-Alliance which has been caused by Mwonzora and turning a blind eye to the chaos in the country as if the chaos in the opposition will resuscitate the economy. The chaos in the country caused by ZANU PF will destroy everything and the future lives.

Mwonzora is a darling of Zanu PF and this is evidenced by calls from Victor Matemadanda that voters should dump Nelson Chamisa for Mwonzora. History will judge harshly those who have sanitised the act by acts of omission and commission of recalling members of parliament willy nilly.
