Ndavaningi Mangwana must just resign
26 Jan 2021 at 07:01hrs | Views
IT is sad that Information secretary Ndavaningi Mangwana has decided to hide from the truth that our health sector is in the intensive care unit, therefore, it can no longer assist people.
Zanu-PF always blame everyone else except itself. Firstly, Mangwana should admit that the new dispensation has dismally failed as there are no more hospitals to talk about.
Secondly, that most government and Zanu-PF chefs always rush to private hospitals shunning public hospitals is an indication that the latter are death traps.
It is like a man who is told by his wife that there is no food in the house and then husband takes an issue with the tone of the message alleging that she is being disrespectful and spends the whole day shouting at or beating her, instead of simply bringing food to the table.
This applies to the Zanu-PF government which is bullying innocent doctors who are working very hard exposed to COVID-19 pandemic because they do not have personal protective equipment.
It is a shame that they are being labelled "medical assassins" by reckless people who do not want to accept the reality on the ground and work for the betterment of the country. This is the reason why Zimbabwe will never prosper.
Mangwana should apologise to the nation and then resign for his reckless utterances.
