Zanu-PF has no permanent friends

THERE was a thought-provoking article in one of the weeklies encouraging the opposition MDC to safeguard documents containing human rights violations that occurred since 1999.
The violations took place during MDC founding father Morgan Tsvangarai's days, but what has happened to those highly-valuable records now that the Douglas Mwonzora-led faction has taken over Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House?
I hope Mwonzora has kept those documents secure for the victims to be compensated in time and the perpetrators brought to book. They must expect to face the full wrath of the nation when we finally manage to get our freedom from this military junta.
It looks like the reason for Zanu-PF and the army's support for Mwonzora could have been to have access to those records which incriminate the military and almost all Zanu-PF members from the top to the village marauders. Otherwise why would the security services help MDC-T to take over the headquarters of the original MDC?
These documents should be a matter of life and death for Zanu-PF to warrant paying the MDC-T millions of dollars from the political parties fund! But does Mwonzora believe that his reputation and integrity that he sacrificed for the benefit of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF will earn him some freebies from the junta?
He will learn the hard way that Zanu-PF has no permanent friends. He has effectively said he supports the treasonous statement made by presidential spokesperson, George Charamba, when he said he could not comment because it was directed at MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa.
No, it was directed at all freedom-loving Zimbabweans. Obviously you have no de-sire to lead us to the promised land as you would have been horrified too at Charamba's utterances, unless you are anti-democratic.
All MDC-T members should be aware of who they are following a mercenary who only has his interests at heart and no desire to defeat Zanu-PF in the ballot box.
