Mnangagwa-snub in Botswana: top news to produce ten videos!

Last time I suggested that Zimbabwe GenZs must go to Kenya for political corrections and political maturity, rehabilitation: The shallowness of our young Zimbabweans in comparison to Kenyan GenZs is galling. Producing multiple videos saying the same: Mnangagwa was humiliated during the Botswana inauguration of President Duma Boko. I doubt even if these young people comprehend the manners of a murderer of generations, a visible thug, a hard-core criminal like Mnangagwa. They think Mnangagwa can surely be humiliated by a 4-hour performance in Gaborone; they think? For how long have you been drumming a "humiliation mantra"? Is it an achievement, a trophy to talk home about: kuridza mureza we joni nazvo!

For how long have we been waiting for a regime change ever since Mnangagwa forfeited his trip to New York this year? The number of your video productions gave us the impression that freedom is coming tomorrow! We saw the Zanu Bulawayo conference come and go. We suspected, after the meeting we shall see Chiwenga staging another coup but not a coup to unseat Mnangagwa. It did not happen. Late last week, Chiwenga came out and told us that he was not yet ready to take overpower. To political scientists, and those in that discipline, this statement has many interpretations. It may mean that Chiwenga is openly incapable of unseating Mnangagwa. There could be some jigsaw pieces he is failing to sort out himself. In as much as he wants to take overpower, Chiwenga fears Mnangagwa. His fear runs deep, right up to his bone-marrow because he cheated death on several occasions. That too, plays deep in his subconsciousness. Trauma. He is chasing bigger and larger-than-him issues that give him a shock value to keep that inherent state of trauma repeating itself. Pitiful, his state of trauma involves lives of innocent youth.

Chiwenga has developed cold feet somehow: He can neither go forward or backwards. One wonders what will happen to the Gen Zs who gave all the impression that Chiwenga is about to overthrow the incumbent government. (Gudo haripotsi) Mnangagwa knows Chiwenga's weaknesses like the palm of his hand. They have been in the game chase of cat and mouse since independence, how commanders were eliminated and others reinstated. The dossier we fellow Zimbabweans must demand is the number of soldiers who perished during the coup of 2017. Chamisa is at the periphery of the broader scheme of the infighting in Zanu PF, busy refereeing who is the better evil of the two; Chiwenga and Mnangagwa. He is also promising Mnangagwa that, if he (Chamisa) assumed power, he will give a blanket amnesty to Gukurahundi perpetrators and those who committed grave human rights atrocities in year 2000 farm invasions and 2008 elections. Who is Advocate Chamisa to forgive crimes against humanity? Crimes against humanity are tabled in ICC-Haig and not in the State House.

One strong indicator about Chiwenga's inability and unfitness to take over the highest office is his angry face that does not mean anything at the end of the day. Secondly, how he vents his anger on Merry his former wife for attempting to kill him. (Merry is the weakest link in the larger scheme of things) He is evidently failing to punish Mnangagwa: taking overpower that was given to him on a silver plate by Robert Mugabe. How many people (soldiers) are going to die because Chiwenga miscalculated in 2017. In the process of humiliating and punishing his former wife in the manner he is doing, an explanation must be given why; by Chiwenga himself. Why punishing the mother of his children in such a brutal manner. Under any normal circumstance, Chiwenga should have forgiven Merry long back and gone full force to unseat Mnangagwa. Refusing to drink water at Zanu conferences should never be newsworthy in our social media. (here, our Gen Zs are found wanting) When Chiwenga refused to drink water, (instead he brought a liter of water with him) was exploited by youthful social media to the point of madness. Dwelling objectively on intrigues in the party Zanu PF and the military, is what is lacking in Zimbabwe's political discourse. Chiwenga's anger and grievances skirt around his inability to unseat Mnangagwa; he is overwhelmed because he is not well, and he thinks someone like Mugabe will come again and give him power on his lap ONCE MORE. Fortune knocks once at every man's door: that goes for Chiwenga too.

Lack of a formidable opposition party in Zimbabwe is a problem. The golden opportunity is upon us to take advantage of the inner fighting's in the Zanu party and the army. This was the time Chamisa should have shown his leadership abilities. Chamisa is risk averse; he will want someone else to do that for him and he walks in to occupy the statehouse; his wishful destination. Zanu PF and the army know Chamisa like the palm of their hands: Chamisa has no capacity to unseat Zanu PF. He is not a revolutionary leader, far from it. At best Chamisa is an opportunist. He lacks everything about revolutionary leadership. That Che Guevera spirit is completely absent in him. Daily changing tailor-made suits in all colours, spites his powerless face. Chamisa must go to Ukraine and invade President Volodymir Selensky's wardrobe; get his green T-Shirts to wear until Zimbabwe's victory. What was all this rapper sapling about if, at the end of the day, Chiwenga says he is not ready to take over Nyanga: by his own account, without external pressure.

Mnangagwa has flown out of the country for an international meeting; a sign that he has regained his confidence from the army and police. If he was not sure about Chiwenga's ambitions to overthrow him, he would not have left. It is not malice if we say the beautiful ones who will remove Zanu PF from power are not yet born. Chamisa has no capacity to unseating Mnangagwa and Zanu-PF. Both Chamisa and Chiwenga wish to be handed over power without a fight. They want power trust upon them. They are both not born great, they can't evidently achieve greatness. Tiri pama one.
