What does Nathaniel Manheru aim to achieve for Zimbabwe?

08 Sep 2014 at 19:20hrs | Views

Today we live to achieve certain objectives to lift the standard of those who depend on our expertise. What objective does Mr Manheru wish to be remembered for in his obituary?

Heroes are those people who have used their brain power to empower the vulnerable. Joshua Nkomo, Robert Mugabe, Nelson Mandela, Strive Masiyiwa, Bill Gates, Sir Issac Newton, King Mzilikazi, Mbuya Nehanda all have one thing in common, they did more to change lives for the betterment of others. Most of these Heroes do acknowledge the collective effort of others in their work and most of them depended on the advice of friends and critics alike to perfect their objectives.

Mr Mugabe is a unique Hero who has failed because he did not learn to gain from the good services of critics. He only depends on feigned praise singers and his Hero status is thus damaged. He leads a country that has moved from glory to hell since 1980 because of his obsessive use of useless praise singers.

Adolf Hitler, Robert Mugabe, Saddam Hussein, Ian Smith, Mahomed Gaddafi are also Heroes to other millions of souls no matter how evil they have been to those who do not fall under their enclave. Hitler was a Hero to Germans and he wanted Germany to sodomise the whole World. Mugabe started as someone good for Zimbabwe as a Nation but because of his nature to avoid positive critics, he has degenerated and reduced himself into a Zezuru leader in Zimbabwe. Tongogara tried to advise him to take Zimbabwe as a whole country but he shun good advice and carried on to form a Zezuru dynasty which saw him kill so many Zimbabweans starting by Gukurahundi. Saddam Hussein led a country where he encouraged the Sunni to boast over the Shia and because of that, there is no Iraq today. It's a divided and dangerous country where not even Saddams daughters will ever be safe for generations to come.

Some people will never learn from the mistakes of others.

Ian Smith looked in the Black face of Zimbabweans and concluded that a valuable brain can't be buried under a black skin with inferior hair. Smith set White complexioned Zimbabweans to boast over the impoverished fellow countrymen just as Mugabe sets the Zezuru. Gaddafi, like Mugabe armed his tribe and put them on all strategic Government positions and believed that the rest were so dull and so incapable to punish him one day. As a result, there is no Libya today. It's all in tatters and Gaddafi left sons in infested cruel prisons for the rest of their lives.

No one has ever been and no one will forever be a successful leader of a country that he segregates to promote his tribe.  There are so many such poor heroes who shunned advice and ended up with a legacy of disquiet for the whole Nation and for many years.

A noble leader is one who is able to select correct tools to consolidate his dominion and his short legacy. The best of all tools in politics are the voices of your critics. You learn more from your critics than you learn from feigned praise singers. Mugabe would learn more from me, the critic, than he would from Nathaniel Manheru the feigned praise singer. All modern leaders like Obama, Cameron, Zuma, Angela Michael, Putin or Xi Jinping rely mostly and richly on the voices of opponents. Well-intended opponents always tell the sour but healthy and useful truth.

Scribes and Journalists are supposed to be honest tools of civilisation who should write the truth. The truth does not always mean to criticise or to insult, but properly trained people are able to write a highly negative matter in a sombre but effective and gainful way. Incompetent scribes invest more in praise songs rather that objectively constructive work which can change the country for the better. In my eyes, Nathaniel Manheru writes for money. Money limits him from criticising the lame leader who pays him. He, therefore is useless for the Nation but useful for Mugabe's ears hence the wages.

Unfortunately for Zimbabwe, poverty is our destination. Regardless of the gift of education that we have and our educated leaders, we have failed to fuse into educated ethics. Our education ends with a useless decorated certificate. Our President led us to this culture where education is suppressed to fail to take its positive effect. Educated journalists are suppressed to do their work, which even though critical of Government, if properly used, can open the closed eyes of the Government.

President Mugabe does not like criticism. It all started from the days of the Liberation struggle that anyone who criticised the struggle efforts was of benefit to the Colonial regime. When President Mugabe took office at independence, he was fifty seven years old and was too old and war-hardened to accept to learn the benefits of positive criticism. He carried on with wartime methods of killing and imprisoning critics. Unfortunately, no one can excel in life without the vital service of critics. Some Governments hire critics and pay them a lot of money so that they can be able to diagnose their country effectively. Mugabe kills critics as he did during the war and he pays praise singers who since 1980 have not written a single mistake the Government has done.

The problem is in the results, Mugabe's Halleluiah singers have caused Zimbabwe to be one of the poorest countries in the World. Zimbabwe needs heroes who will write the truth and expose Police corruption which surely Mugabe does not know about and will never know.

As a result of the work of useless scribes whose life purpose is to earn a wage like Nathaniel Manheru, our President of the Republic does not believe even a little bit that none of all the Police in Zimbabwe is not a thief. Mugabe thinks his police are as honest as Rhodesian Police or even better. Mugabe will never travel in a Combi sitting at the back seat to see for himself the 24 Police roadblocks between Harare and Bulawayo and how the respected Republic Police siphon money from poor peasants.

If Mugabe had good and honest Journalists, he would wake up one morning and put on goggles and a farmer's hat and go to Harare show grounds to take a Combi to Bulawayo. With good advice, Mugabe would take a bag full of 200Kg Marijuana and three AK 47 and put them in a bag and catch a Combi to Bulawayo. It is true that in all the 24 roadblocks he will encounter, none will detect the Marijuana and AK 47, but all roadblocks will empty the wallets of poor peasants for money.

The work of Nathaniel Manheru that I know is to sing Halleluiah for a sinking Titanic. In my honest eyes and avoiding any unfair insult, Mr Manheru is of no use to the improvement of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Mr Manheru, as the lame President's best musician, is well paid and that is the only purpose I see him for in life. He lives to sing for a lame President who pays him to sing insidious songs that destroy the future of our country.

I would be a liar who is not permitted in heaven if I ever accuse Mr Manheru of failing to write rich and high quality English language. I confess, I have never read so much of good English from a Black Zimbabwean than from Mr Manheru. But again, in my eyes, Mr Manheru's good writing skills are as useless as my lame and blind President.

Why do best educated Zimbabweans take pride in producing poverty while in the rest of the World, educated people take pride in unleashing their education to advance the standard of life of their countrymen? Why does Manheru not wake up in the morning to write "Mugabe's bias towards the Zezuru is the sole cause of our National demise?"

Although Mugabe will be angry, he will go home at night and think. He may come back the following morning flushing out all people who were employed on ground of tribe since 1980 and replace them with monitored tribal inclusions. Once that is done, professional Zimbabweans of different tribes who are disgruntled and scattered all over the World may sense change of heart and come back home to rebuild our destroyed country. Renewal of National Confidence is same as opening the gates of turnaround wealth.

We have Doctors, Inventors, Professors, Engineers, who live angrily in exile and who could come and create wealth for a diverse Zimbabwe not one they left because of being mistreated.

No amount of loans from China will change the fortunes of Zimbabwe except Zimbabweans themselves. To change the fortunes, Zimbabweans must be able to write openly those critical things about the Government so that the Government can fix those problems. Fear is poverty.

Look in general families, fathers who are too strict produce frightened children who will never open any new door for wealth. Happy and creative fathers who let children ride on their backs produce creative minded children who grow up to be Doctors and Inventors. Children of hard fathers end up slaves of children of free fathers.

Fixing problems is not hard for an honest and well informed credible President. All the President has to do is to read a newspaper which talks about how Police Constable Futsiyo demanded bribe money from a poor driver Mr Hokoto and the President suspends the Police Commissioner and his Constable Futsiyo until they are found not guilty by a credible Law.

If Nathaniel Manheru lives in Zimbabwe and drives to Bulawayo from Harare and meets these corrupt Police and never informs the President through his writings, then what good is he as a Zimbabwean Educated Professional?

Mokombe House is heavily infiltrated by Zezuru thieves who can't speak all Zimbabwean languages and are expected to serve the Ndebele and give them National documents, does Manheru write about this? If Mugabe does not honestly know what's happening at Makombe House and trusts the likes of Manheru to inform him through investigative journalism, how then can Mugabe govern? Why should Mugabe pay a useless Halleluiah choir master when he is supposed to pay for a trusted informer?

Just to ask Mr Manheru a question, "on your obituary sir, how do you want to be remembered for? Do you want to be the educated Zimbabwean who opened the closed eyes of our President or just one of those many who were paid to run down the country?"

If Mr Manheru gets fired by the President for giving a false audit of Zimbabwe and a lesser educated but honest scribe is employed, maybe Zimbabwe will be richer. It's a shame that best talents are used to hide away National corrosion from the President. Mr Mugabe recently did not understand why Zanu delegates had no money for food. He is of belief that Zimbabwe is still capable and is still on the recovery party it was in 2012.

We are going down the drain and in August 2015, there won't be any bread our shelves. Mr Manheru fears to tell the President the truth but keeps singing Sanctions, ChinaChina, Sellouts, MDC, Obama, Mugabe halleluiah woye! The Chinese were like us, but they used their people positively to turnaround the fortunes. No Chinese was ever suspected of loving America more that his motherland and it is foolish to imagine that anyone who was pushed by a Zimbabwean mother on Zimbabwean soil will ever identify a home better than home.

Icho!
