Dear Robbery G. Mungabe
RE: LAST SUPPER PETITION - STEP DOWN MR. MUGABE
The abovementioned reference refers.
Kindly please be advised that we act for and on behalf of the citizens of Zimbabwe residing in and around Zimbabwe.
South Africa's Youth Assembly in Zimbabwe's main opposition led by former Zimbabwean PM Morgan Tsvangirai held a demonstration at the Zimbabwean embassy, last weekend on your birthday, on the 21st February 2015.
As the African Union ceremonial leader, you jetted into South Africa under the guise of a diplomatic visit to resolve the Lesotho issue. It is sad indeed that the ones from your own had not prepared a birthday bash for you as they had anticipated that by now your body will be six feet under whilst our soul will be in arroyo tormented by fire. By his grace you have lived to be 91!
Happy Birthday Roberry Garamundege Mungabe!
Honestly speaking, the citizens have had enough of you. All they desire is that and is that you to vacate the esteemed office of office.
We hosted a birthday party for you dubbed the "LAST SUPPER."
After you saw the red carpet, you go paranoid and sent your apologies. We were glad that you delegated your high table chair to the murderous Central Intelligency Organisation (CIO) Simon Chisorochengwe. We had a great time with him and we sang and chanted "MUGABE MUST GO!!! MUGABE MUST GO!!! MUGABE MUST GO!!!" Despite the fact that you didn't want to attend and you peeped through the Embassy windows and danced along. Oh, poor old Uncle Bob!
We are delighted with the fact that you prioritized our demo and post-poned your normal routine 21st February Movement.
The Zimbabwean community is not pleased at all that you will be celebrating your 91st birthday in the Zimbabwean resort town of Victoria Falls where more than US$2.5million has been splashed out.
Hundreds of Zimbabweans despite political affiliation took part in the demonstration, which as expected, started at 0900hrs. The notorious C.I.O. operative Simon Chisorochengwe glady received the petition which by now has already been read by Mugabe.
Typical of many dictatorships since historical times, the Mugabe led ZANU PF government continues to cling onto power despite having been rejected by the people of Zimbabwe.
It is an open secret that Mugabe and his party have lost elections since 2000 and have thus resorted to unconventional means to hang onto power. These have included torture, harassment of perceived opponents, arbitrary imprisonment, rigging and the militarization and politicization of national institutions.
Ever since the year 2000, the Elections have been a flee-and-fear-encounter with everything short and deficient of being free-and-fair. Elections are held with no public voters roll hence there are many ghost voters, and in many cases the presiding officers were the losing Zanu Pf candidates in the primary elections.
The Zimbabwean community is demanding the following:
1. The immediate resignation of the illegitimate president Roberry Mungabe and his entire cabinet.
2. The establishment of a Parliamentary Task Force to kick start the formation of National Dialogue encompassing all stake holders that will align all the country's laws to the new constitution and prepare for fresh free and fair elections.
3. An all stakeholders dialogue to avert the national economic crisis and spearhead appropriate reforms.
4. The end to the abuse of state security agents by Zanu PF and the government by unleashing them to either intimidate the people, or usurp the people's power and responsibility of determining the establishment of a new charter for solving the national crisis.
5. The immediate disbandment of Zanu PF militia and terror gangs particularly Chipangano which is terrorizing innocent Zimbabweans.
Mr Mugabe, kindly please be advised that the unfortunate overall effect of these and other national issues is that your government has caused untold and unprecedented suffering to ordinary Zimbabweans while you, your party and government continue to abuse state institutions and national resources - amidst Zanu (PF) infighting.
Kindly please be further advised that we urge the Mugabe's government to act on our grievances urgently.
We therefore urge you and your government to treat this issue of national importance with the seriousness it deserves. It is our expectation that your government takes the responsibility and sincerely makes way for new ideas towards solving the crisis.
All Zimbabweans living in South Africa took part in the march including the Zimbabwe Exiles Forum, churches and Crisis Coalition, the Bongani Ndlovu chaired ZAPU whose president is Dumiso Dabengwa were there amongst many other organizations who were in solidarity.
At this point in time we think it is of paramount importance to lay down the foundation of the Zimbabwe Solidarity Campaign.
The Zimbabwe Solidarity Campaign is a brain child of the South African Youth Assembly within the Movement for Democratic Change led by President Dr. Morgan Richard Tsvangirai.
The Solidarity Campaign is neither under any political alignment nor affiliation, but it is a drive by the Zimbabwean and African community and the world at large. No nation is an island, and on the same token whatever happens in Zimbabwe has got a ripple effect on Africa, the world and most importantly South Africa gets knocked really hard.
The Zimbabwean family in conjunction with the international community has formed and formulated many organizations and nothing much has happened. We have thus reached a stage where we have to set aside our differences put a stop to the forever sprouting organizations and equally join hands, join voices and send the message across to Robbery Mugabe and his cronies.
So in essence this is a project for every Zimbabwean to have her or his voice heard. The campaign started in Zambia with ‘Mugabe must go" and a few days after Uncle Bob crumbled to his knees. Such was the power of the Zambians to the illegitimate president of Zimbabwe! This is now our turn to turn the heat.
There is no place better than home and the majority of Zimbabweans in the diaspora really want to pack and go, but the current political, social and economic atmosphere veto such. We admit that we have been a liability to the South African community in that we have occupied space that is for the citizens of the republic. We want to create voids and space by vacating our current jobs for the locals to be employed. This will in return alleviate xenophobic attacks.
The essence of the theme LAST SUPPER is that this is the SEND OFF, this is the last time Robert Mugabe will celebrate his birthday as the illegitimate president of Zimbabwe. The witch-spin-doctors in Zanu Pf had predicted his demise before his 91st birthday, but we as the MDC-T Youths decided to have birthday bashes for Mugabe all over the world. This idea has spilled into United Kingdom, USA and in Australia.
Roberry Mugabe is a broken leader, leading a broken broke country on broken reasons with broken promises.
We are dealing with the tripartite Robert Mugabe
1. Robert Mugabe the person
2. Robert Mugabe the system
3. Robert Mugabe the president
If we kill one, the other two will survive, so we this is a foundation for a long term goal that will help alleviate the plight of Zimbabwe, Africa and the world at large.
Mr Mugabe, following a shame plebscite in 2002 which the KHAMPEMPE REPORT confirmed as neither free no fair, the 2008 election was stolen from the people and 2013 saw extraordinary rigging by your unpopular party that it was even surprised yourselves to an extend that you couldn't celebrate the landslide robbery.
The former breadbasket of Africa has been reduced into a begging basket of the world. The nation has regressed so much that embryonic measures are needed to impede the free fall. Industries have closed and a whooping 2 million jobs were promised but not a single net gain in employment has been recorded. As such the majority of the country has been reduced to vendors and scavengers under the Zanu Pf misrule.
The total emasculation of the Zimbabweans' political power has been complemented into a strategy that is meant to reduce their social, economic and political powers to the level of Stone Age scavengers; therefore we are available for manipulation and abuse by Mugabe and his cronies.
Zimbabwe is no longer a state at all! There is neither democracy no respect of human rights; and the doctrine of state sovereignty will need to be restructured and redefined. Mr Mugabe a state isn't only defined by having defined boarders, a flag and displacing people at farms for the purposes of constructing a retiring resourt game park farm, neither is it also defined by assigning a doctorate to your wife within two years of registration. At least now we know that her thesis concluded that girls are at a more risk of getting pregnant than boys! No-wonder why your wife is Dr. DisGrace Mugabe for such is what she brought to Zimbabwe.
Only a few feeding through the shameful system of patronage can afford decent life in Zimbabwe. Since last year's Nikuved elections and assumption of office by your current government, the country has nose dived economically. Economic indicators clearly show that that the current government has totally no control over management of the economy. Unemployment levels of over 90%, collapsing industry and commerce, as well as massive de-capitalisation have combined to virtually kill the economy. The past year has proved the lack of capacity by your government to stem the worsening economic crisis. Consequently, social services delivery has been severely affected by the economic situation and apparent lack of capital across the economy. International community's reluctance to assist our country with substantial financial packages at this time of urgent need, clearly illustrates the crisis of legitimacy affecting your government.
Unfortunately the overall effect of these national issues, your government has failed to address is the untold suffering of the ordinary Zimbabweans and the continued abuse of Robert Mugabe by your party and government. How do you explain a 90+ year old to lead the country? He has been forgetting his own party slogan, and has been falling on red carpets. The old man needs to rest.
We will leave no stone unturned in attempts to have a free Zimbabwe with Equal Opportunities for all!
Zimbabwe is united against Mugabe. The international community is putting on its weight.
Free Zimbabwe Mugabe must GO!
Stay away from ZTV and ZBC Radio Stations!
President Morgan Tsvangirai, the time is now!
