Auxilia Mnangagwa the right candidate for Chirumhanzu-Zibagwe constituency

A close analysis of the existing political atmosphere seems to suggest that Auxilia Mnangagwa, the wife of Vice President Emmerson Mnagagwa is the right candidate to represent ZANU PF in the Chirumanzu-Zibagwe constituency.
Auxilia Mnangagwa is a long serving member of ZANU PF and is currently the deputy Secretary for Environment and Tourism in the Politburo. The development was occasioned by the withdrawal of two candidates from the party primaries. The two candidates withdrew before the sitting electoral directorate as they realised that they were political novices compared to Mnangagwa.
The constituency is too big as it borders Mashonaland West, Chikomba, Gutu, Chiwundura and Redcliff, so it needs someone who has the capacity to make sure that developmental projects that had been initiated by Vice President Mnangagwa are carried on.
ZANU PF is enjoying support in the constituency therefore Mnangagwa is guaranteed a seat in parliament. She has been involved in a number of philanthropic activities. Among some of her philanthropic works is being engaged with female prison officers and spouses of male prison officers in income generating projects.
Mnangagwa has been very instrumental in establishing women's banks in areas such as Zhombe, Zibagwe and Chirumanzu among other centres. In 2013 she also launched a woman's bank in Mvuma with the assistance of the Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development ministry.
In an endeavour to achieve the millennium goals and promote gender equality we should elect people who are not selfish and dedicated to serve the nation in the likes of Mnangagwa. The lady has proved to be consistent and principled in serving the party for many years. Such personalities should be entrusted by the electorate as they have a clean track record.
Mnangagwa has been instrumental in promoting indigenisation and women empowerment in an effort to promote the country's economic blue print Zim-Asset. She has promised a number of projects in the constituency and pledged to source funds for development.
It is high time for the people to choose representatives of their choice in parliament, people who are pragmatic and always visible on the ground. These days' people do not like fly by night politicians, that is those who have the habit of visiting the constituency only at election time.
