Grace Mugabe appoints Mahofa for selfish reasons

The First Lady Grace Mugabe has sent a congratulatory message to newly-appointed Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs Shuvai Mahofa, saying her rise was good for the advancement of women.
Yeah the people have had that one before; when Mugabe appointed Mai Mujuru surreptitiously in 2004 he said "it was good for the advancement of women". Before her the tyrant had the equally useless and incompetent Simon Muzenda as VP and he argued this was good for regional balance or some such stupid excuse.
The truth is women, the region or the nation have never benefited from the elevation of anyone above the level of their competence. We have all suffered for it!
Shuva Mahofa is an empty drum that makes a lot of noise; it is an insult to women, the people of Masvingo and the nation at large that such an utterly useless individual should hold such a high office.
"I was sent to this function by our mother to congratulate Mai Mahofa," said Edna Madzongwe, at the party hosted to celebrate Mahofa's appointment. "She told me to tell Mai Mahofa that the President trusts her and that she will carry out the burden of development in Masvingo without being involved in issues such as corruption. "The First Lady said as leader of women in Zimbabwe, she wishes all women in Masvingo well. The First Lady does not want corruption. She wants people to love each other. Dr Mugabe is concerned about the underprivileged. Do not hesitate to speak to Mai Mahofa so that she conveys your message to the First Lady."
Corruption is rampant in Zimbabwe and I do not remember Mugabe or any other Zanu PF leader ever saying they wanted corruption!
If Grace "does not want corruption" then why has she appointed Shuva Mahofa – one of the most corrupt and incompetent politicians in the country!
Indeed Grace would do by taking the log out of her own eye before she tries to take out the chips in other people's eyes. She would do well giving back all the seized farms and all the other looted wealth.
Every corrupt Zanu PF pays lip-service of condemning corruption at every opportunity. After paying the lip-service homage, they feel they have taken a load off their chest and they are free to be as corrupt as they wish; that is why corruption is so rampant!
Grace is "concerned about the underprivileged" but of course; why else would she appointed one of the most corrupt and incompetent politicians?
Grace Mugabe is using the same dirty tactics her husband Mugabe has used of appointing useless individuals so that compared to them, he is a genius. Mugabe has been bright star in the Zimbabwe political sky next to by red-dwarfs, Simon Muzenda, Joice Mujuru, etc. whose luminosity is so poor they were seen more from the reflected light than from that generated from within.
At the very best, Grace Mugabe is a red-dwarf, a "half-witted jackass or simpleton with a crass approach to complicated matters demanding high levels of emotional intelligence", as the Japanese commentator Ken Yamamoto aptly described her. So her challenge is to surrounding herself with those less luminous than a red-dwarf. And in Shuvai Mahofa she has found someone so dull she is a black hole; they generate no light and do not even reflect light their gravitation pull is so powerful even light cannot escape.
After decades of one distant star plus hundreds off red-dwarfs in the Zimbabwe political sky we are now entering a phase of one red-dwarf and a hundreds of black holes! 35 years of Mugabe's corrupt and tyrannical rule has left the nation in total economic ruins. If Grace Mugabe takes over the nation will see a lot worse than we have seen under her husband. The nation economy has sunk to frightening depths of economic misery and despair under his rule but it will now sink to even greater depth none can even start to imagine. Do we hate ourselves so much that we would see ourselves suffer untold miseries in the name of gender equally, regional balance or so such feeble excuse!
