Its not over, we want to qualify for World Cup and climb the FIFA rankings

30 Mar 2016 at 06:22hrs | Views
I would like to congratulate Coach Pasuwa for winning on Monday against Swaziland 4-0 at National Sports Stadium.

HoweverIwould like to remind the Warriors and Zimbabweans that our  FIFA ranking is way above 100 in the World which is really highest ever seen since the coach took over. Gorowa's era was better in rankings. Swaziland,Botswana, Cape Verde and Malawi are ranked above us in Africa which is not good.

He must not sit back and have good night sleep on one victory as we have many games ahead that he needs to win. We still have sleepless nights to glory for our coach and players.

I want to challenge Pasuwa to revive our Dream Team and surpass the record set by Reinhard Fabisch of having 13 unbeaten matches in all competitions.

His idea of draws is not what is required by the fans as its basic football. We ask for excellent perfomance with results not dull draws.

The hungry players are there, the allowance money is there, your contract is there, your car was bought so there  is no room for failure or excuses as President Chiyangwa said our coach is now one of the highest paid coaches in Southern Africa.

Now these highest salaries needs to be matched with excellent and quality perfomances of the Warriors.

We are sick and tired of sitting on the edge all the time as you do not seem to have confidence in our team.

The Warriors must win home and away with no fail as we have a Dream Team in our players.
Its time you unleashe the Warriors and remove the shackles from your tactics and see the players flourish into champions and pass masters.

Allow players to alter the tactics during play if the other team is playing better than you had planned for. I was once in your situation, that your game plan is not working on the day and even that plan B you have doubts about it as you once used it and lost. When you reach this boiling point you cannot hide behind players as a leader.

Mourinho tried it at Chelsea but it backfired big time. Rafa Benitez tried it at Real Madrid and backfired big time. Now Mashaba and Super Eagles have soon found out that they are mediocre coaches with big boots to fill.
