99% preachers and prophets not doing God's work

I know most people will immediately be shocked by my reliable figure and start cursing me and calling me all sorts of names least of which is calling me an anti-Christ.

But I'm not one to be easily scared off facts and beliefs that I hold and needless to say I will obviously supply you with fact to back up my views and beliefs.

The obvious first question to ask about all the "Men of God", "Women of God", Prophets, Prophetesses, Pastors, Preachers and all (called MWoG hereafter), who are supposedly preaching the word of GOD is, where did they mushroom from or simply put, who declared them what they are today? Most of them will tell you that they went to pray in the mountains for 7 days and the voice of the Lord told them to start a church. Or they will tell you that an alleged spiritual father told them so and anointed them, giving them powers to go out and do God's work or that they went to training school and many such claims? Really is that all it takes?

The other question would be, who told you that the voice you heard while on the mountain was that of God, and how did the voice speak to you? Did it come from beyond the rocks or from the clouds, what exactly happened for one to definitely say that, that's the voice of the Lord? And why would the Lord God speak to you directly but to Maria and Joseph he sent Angel Gabriel?

Most people believe that going to pray in the mountains makes them get closer to God and that he actually hears you better from there; nothing is furthest from the truth. Most demonic and evil spirits dwell in those mountains and in African culture mountains were used to carry out rituals to appease the spirits of the ancestors. Most of these spirits were lured to items and artefacts which were then left in these mountains. It is not surprising that these spirits are easily invoked by people singing and praying in a way not instructed to them by God. These are spirits looking for a home and to be set free from their bondages in the mountains, they will do anything to be accepted including playing God. These spirits will later reveal their true identity as the MWoG starts to do their thing.

The other question begging an answer is, who anointed your "anointer"? In Africa most MWoG are quick to say "l was anointed by so and so, usually the names of other big alleged prophets are banded about. Most people take a trip to T B Joshua in Nigeria and when they return it's done they can start a ministry. Then we bring into question the credibility and credentials of T B Joshua as a "Man of God ", where did he come from, who anointed him? In the world of leading a church or ministry there is an intricate web of "Spiritual fathers and sons " with claims and counter claims of one being the spiritual father of the other and vice versa all in the name of bolstering one's name and credentials. So far no space for God Almighty, The Son and the Holy Ghost there, so honestly how can we say these MWoG are doing it for the Almighty?

I'm yet to see an alleged man of God who declares that God sent him to work under or join an already established church or ministry, no; they all want to start their own, complete with an English name and a TV Station, Facebook, YouTube and Tweeter accounts. I was of the assumption that since gifts differ, these prophets and pastors would receive different gifts from God so that if say Makandiwa, Magaya, Chibwe and Sanyangore were to establish one big ministry where one would heal the sick, the other put miracle monies and goodies in people's lives while the other preaches and make people repent and finally the other raising the dead. Imagine T B Joshua, Ashimolowo, Pastor Chris and all the big names in Nigeria coming together to form one church or T D Jakes, Creflo Dollar and all the other big names doing the same in America, after all they claim to have been sent by the same God. But you can dream on everybody because that's probably the last thing to happen in this world just before the great coming of Christ.

None of these MWoG, big and small wants to work with the other and in fact they harbour rivalry bordering on enmity, MDC and ZANU-PF are bosom buddies.

Why don't all these "men of God" not see eye to eye, I hear you ask? The simple and obvious answer to that is "Because what they are doing is not of God and not from God". They are building their own personal fiefdoms moulded around their own egos. And because there are financial windfalls to soon blossom, you wouldn't want to be sharing that, it will have to stay in the family, so from the rib of the man of God a prophetess and prophetson will be born.

The other main thing that is questionable about these guys is their conduct, which leaves a lot to be desired. What with a plethora of allegations levelled against them ranging from rape, theft, murder to sexual immorality, divorces and rituals, you name it, not to mention the love of money. There is no smoke without a fire so goes the saying, if you have no inclination to doing any such vice then false allegations will never stick, and one will never find the need to hire the best lawyers to defend them if they haven't an idea what the allegation is about.

But our MWoG are in and out of courts like yoyos, complete with furious lawyers and a band of beefed up bouncers slash bodyguards. What happened to the saying "Our Lawyer, our Protector is our Father in Heaven"?

They start off as poor humble servants but in no time at all they are living large and they immediately claim it's the blessings from God for the work they are doing.

Contrast all this with the lives of Elijah, Daniel, John the Baptist, Peter and Paul and the King himself "Jesus" none of them amassed any wealth neither did they wait for the praises to come from all angles. Our MWoG will have an editorial team to publicize all the predictions they claim to have come true, to prove to the world that they are indeed using God's power. They take accolades left right and centre, even being given various awards for a range of achievements. Peter and Paul refused to take praises and gifts from those they helped, insisting that the praise belonged to the Father and gifts to the poor, do we see any of our MWoG doing the same, not a chance in hell. A postman can never claim all the praise for gift parcels that he delivers because he doesn't know the contents, neither can an overall want to get all the praise for the engine overhaul job.

Those who persecuted Jesus and later Peter and Paul did so to people who were blameless with an impeccable and unblemished lifestyle, how those persecutors wished Jesus was fornicating, faking prophecies, stealing people's hard earned money or engaging in adultery, ooohh how they could have had a field day and actually had had a case against him.

Jesus even rejected money from coming to the place of worship (Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, he could have simply said "give to Caesar……………. and part of it to the house of God"), but our dear friends want it in tithes and all forms, sleaze money, drugs money even prostitution money, they want it, they even want you to plant it as a seed with promises of huge returns. Needless to say God and money don't see eye to eye, literally, if humans can agree that "money is the root of all evil" what does the creator say about it?

Our dear MWoG go to bed with politicians, lavishing them with all sorts of praises and donations, making all sorts of claims of how God has anointed this or that leader to rule over the masses until Eve surrenders Adam's rib. In turn they get protection from the short arm of the law and politician get front seats at church gatherings while our men of God revels in the glory of having people from high offices grace his place.

History will show us that the true word of God has fought and has been against rulers and politicians in particular. Politicians, leaders and rulers have shown that they are some of the most evil people to grace this universe; these are the oppressors of the masses. Close your eyes now and try to imagine one ruler who would pass for a saint, even David had his failings as a ruler. The true prophets of God were persecuted for fighting that very system of rulers who oppressed the masses and try to be worshipped in exchange for crumbs from their tables. So the true word of God is a very lethal weapon against the political establishment, and if a "MWoG becomes bedfellows with politicians he is being conservative with the truth.

Another obvious sign that these MWoG are actually "men of Gold" is their unquenchable thirst for huge gatherings and the great lengths they are prepared to go to achieve these. They have tried to make everyone believe that huge numbers of congregates is a sure sign that God is indeed sending them to be the world's saviour, giving themselves aliases created to sound godly and in some cases to be confused with the Almighty, Jesus or the Angels. Huge billboards and long advertisements with nauseating claims of how they are going to make the crippled walk and the blind see, miracle nights where wonders will happen and all shackles of people's problems will be removed by the man with the picture on the advert, with the name "Jesus" making a cameo appearance somewhere obscure on the advert, it is easy to confuse who it is the healing powers belong to.

Some of them have gone as far as establishing their "brand names" so that their followers buy household items with their names, pictures and signatures, a good sign that the man of God will have turned themselves into a god. The followers will obviously defend all these deeds and go on to litter their homes with regalia and artefacts bearing these men and their wives' pictures hoping this brings healing and good fortunes into their homes.

To effectively keep so many people who gather in the various churches and millions others foolish and sheepishly believing that these men are actually doing God's work occult powers and lots of satanic rituals are required. Believe me, to lead 20 people and keep them all under your control is no mean feat, humans, being who they are, are very hard to keep pacified and pleased. One has to fiddle with the laws just to make everyone fit into the scheme of things, no wonder the rulers of the past had to take a pagan day, the 25th of December and the day of Christ's birth of around mid September to make Christmas so that their subjects could just be happy on the same day. The rulers also tinkered with a period meant to celebrate a pagan festival Eastre the "goddess of the east or the Sun" whose symbol was the hare, and was meant to celebrate sex, calling it Easter and and forcing the so-called Christian to celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ at the same time.

This just goes to show how hard it is to please a group of people, but our MWoG have managed to do that with much ease but obviously not using The Almighty's power, so whose power are they using?

To sum it all up, if the "men or women of God" who stands in front of you every week allegedly preaching the word of God does any of the aforementioned or all of them, they have not been sent by or doing God's work at all, it is all for their own self-aggrandisement and enrichment, and this is evident from the fact that no matter what misdemeanours they are engaged in they never voluntarily step aside and let someone take over. They can divorce, commit adultery, murder or misappropriate church funds and assets and still hang on while calling everyone calling for them to step down "detractors, enemies and agents of the devil." They are not humble, not meek and are very scary pompous humans, everything Jesus said they shouldn't be. They wantonly go against the word they purport to represent and preach, keep and drink whiskies and cognacs and live the lives of celebrities, while you, the congregates are constantly told that you will be delivered.

One cannot advertise GOD, JESUS, or the HOLY SPIRIT, because God does his will and you as a prophet cannot promise healing to multitudes of people because you honestly don't know God's will for that particular day unless you have other means of delivering the said healing yourself.

You cannot market the Word, The word sells itself because it is God and God does not need help from unholy men for his Word to reach the world and instead of trying to preach to a billion people at once God is happy if just one person is converted in earnest. So for all you who wish to worship the true God, only go to a church where you are certain that you will grow spiritually, unless of course if you are after the promised riches and are prepared to wait until snakes grow legs, fine, love your Papa forever.

So next time you are in church and you hear your "man of god" going on and on about money and riches know right away that he is one of the 99%. The next time you feel compelled or feel the urge to bow and kneel, when MWoG passes, ululate, cheer and claps hands (because he is a servant, a messenger and the words and miracles are not his but God's, so why practically worship him) when they preach and the "man of god" takes it all in his stride, know right away that he is one of the 99% NOT SENT BY GOD. I rest my case!
