Brethren In Christ Church [BICC] youths in Bulawayo will, in less than four weeks, hold their 11th mega annual camp at Shalom Campsite in Matopo, as they continue seeking to encourage realignment to God and use the platform to intercede for young people and the nation.

This fantastic three day event, with its registration fee packed at $35.00 including transport, is scheduled on the 30th of September 2016 to the 2nd of October 2016 and hundreds of youths in the BICC Bulawayo churches are expected to attend.

When shedding more light about this tremendous camp, the Bulawayo District Youth Chairperson, Mr. Roland Moyo said, just like what happened at Cana in Galilee, though the wine is finished, new wine is coming.

"The story of the new wine is a famous one and is found in the Bible in the book of John Chapter two. It is when Jesus was invited at a wedding; wine for the event was finished. The question is, was there a miscalculation in terms of how long will it go? Or it was a divinely orchestrated plan, because it is in this place where Jesus started doing miracles," he said.

"Nevertheless a good lesson to be learnt is that, new wine was availed, therefore it is in this camp where I am saying young people must learn to invite Jesus in all the things they do and learn to start with him even in challenges because he is the source of all power.

"I am urging all young people to register their names as soon as possible to go and experience a life changing camp," he added that this year's camp is also bigger and better with a lot of activities lined up including powerful preaching of the word, in depth worship experience, adventure tours, mountain climbing competition, braai and many exciting games.

As preparations intensify, there are growing expectations among young people ahead of the event, with some having started to pay their registration fee. Guest speakers at the camp will be Bishop B. Ndiweni [BICC South Africa], Engineer R. Kwenda [Selbourne Park Christian Church] and Mr. Rutendo [BICC Central].
