Why the Third World must be responsible for 'World War 3' outbreak!

23 Sep 2016 at 11:42hrs | Views
With the majority of the world's population under-resourced, political and religious tensions and strife, in general, continue to escalate on a daily basis. It requires not an above average IQ mind to note that an impending worldwide crisis is looming. The reality that essential resources needed for daily survival are not evenly distributed on the earth surface makes the situation even worse, for some nations more than others!

The middle East and Africa are the only places on earth in with the most  notorious world crisis. Surprisingly, these are also the only regions on earth with all the required natural resources of this modern era in abundanceTalk of vast oil deposits, minerals and huge tracks of land amongst other naturals. In fact, frankly speaking, these two regions can effectively self-sustain without needing or requiring the rest of the world resource wise.

However, unlike the "First World" ,these places have experienced strife after strive for centuries with no decisive and stable outcome. From slavery to colonialism and presently through successive civil conflicts, economic development is a casualty. As usual, there are those who have benefited from these conflicts and other aspects of instability in these regions.

Up until now,the West and the Eastern world has so far accumulated resources through playing penetration roles, using capitalist machinery to dominate and control the affairs as well as the resources of the "third world". It still remains, what happens when these regions slowly learn to reject their systems and perfect their own internal systems to lock out the "super powers "one by one eventually?. After all,the world is coming to a place where very soon, technology, (one of the leverages used against the third world), will be embraced by all the nations and lose its impact in influencing trade.

Besides having enormous populations, the super power world, in general, has an unquenchable appetite for natural resources whose availability is only guaranteed by their unreliable imperialist systems and sophistications. These dimensions are what has kept the western world going so far ,but are soon to be tested on an unprecedented scale.

The moment shall come, when most Middle Eastern and African countries shall structure their governance away from the so-called "super powers" of this world. Of course, these relationships will not all end amicably and in one day, as they, re numerous states involved. As expected, when the key states (resource wise) shall begin to perfect their own internal systems away from the West, it will not be well received by the capitalist system of world governance. Recent examples of Western interference in "third and second world" affairs attest to this claim. For example, oil-rich Iran is a victim of western targeted sanctions after having adapted much of the Western-derived technology including nuclear energy to advance  its own economic stability and evade dependence on the West. Muammar Quadafi was overthrown with the help and influence of Western governments after having made attempts to create an independent Libyan system of governance. The same can be said for his vision to aid Africa to do the same. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, is in dire economic stress partly due to the punitive measures imposed by the west for having embarked on land reform. The same goes for each and every country whose leaders elected to self-actualise their countries. In line with its policy of double standards, the USA, continues to reward puppet regimes, its oil based relationship with one of the longest dictatorial dynasty, the Saudi Royal family is no exception.

The USA, France, Britain and China and others have so far relied on technology, economics and militarism and other imperialist devices to siphon other nations' resources into their own countries. Nonetheless, these are only temporary measures as the need to secure permanent resource bases is essential to the survival of some nations. China, for example, suffers a looming food crisis due to its massive and growing  population. At more than 9 million square km in area, with a population to feed of over 1,43 billion people compared to Africas' 1,4 billion people on over 30 million square km area, it is no secret that China is on a wide scale land hunt to feed its ever growing population hence its heightened increase in land purchases outside its mainland.

The world's leading energy consumer states also cannot produce their own adequate energy supplies internally, a crippling time bomb to begin with. Reliance on the US dollar  and a sophisticated capitalist system has kept this network of imperialists well supplied so far. Oil, for example, may not be a major topic to the rest of the world but is generally rated as a national security issue in America. While the USA has successively relied upon meddling in internal affairs of host countries, China has solely relied on trade and underhand dealings with corrupt native leaders of resource-rich countries to ensure reliable sources of crude oil. Nonetheless, the tactics are going to switch from indirect aggression and persuasion to direct confrontation as long as these needs are not fully ensured and secured.Effective occupation is and was always on the cards and a clear observation of events attests to this overview.

It is possible to note exceptions of western countries whose populations seem to be at par with naturally occurring resources. These can be Canada,France, and the USA.Nonetheless,  the inadequacy of these resources to last long enough to avert the impending crisis is no secret.

Of course, for now as proxy wars continue to escalate around the world, the race for the fast depleting world resources is still in its infancy. As the earth resource base shall continue to eclipse into depletion, so shall the true colors of the real battle ahead be revealed. The time is now that nations need to safeguard the interests of their future generations to come by preparing sustainable environments. After all, this is a period of misinformation and smoke screens!
