'I emerged from this ordeal stronger, bolder, more determined to lead the fight' - Ndibali

To all fighters and friends
I would like to extend a heartfelt message, first and foremost to all the fighters (ZEFF Family) in our beloved and beautiful Zimbabwe and throughout the world.
I am safe, well and in good economic revolution spirit. The support offered to me and to our organisation during my politically motivated arrest under the guise of violations of the immigration laws of Zimbabwe. Thankfully the due process of law took its course in accordance with our Zimbabwean laws promulgated by the Zimbabwean constitution. The law interpreted by an impartial magistrate and with my competent defence lawyer Mr Jabulani Mhlanga exposing the weaknesses of the state case, I was acquitted of charges on the 31/08/2017.
The whole event had been designed to distract us and Zimbabweans from talking and focussing on the real issues that affect us all. The plot has failed spectacularly. I can tell you all that I have emerged from this ordeal stronger, bolder and more determined to lead the fight than ever before. This is a fight for our economic well-being for all of us, a fight for the rule of law and rights for all of us, a fight for decent free primary and secondary education for our children, a fight for land, a fight for nationalisation of strategic sectors of our economy, a fight for employment creation and jobs for Zimbabweans, a fight for good governance for our country, a fight to protect the most vulnerable in our society and a fight to preserve our dignity, ubuntu and unity for all of us. The fight is not for Mr Ndibali's self-aggrandisement, it is a fight led by Mr Ndibali for the liberation of our people who are trapped in poverty, who are trapped in humiliation, who are trapped in fear-the urgency of now demands that all of you and us join the fight now to fight for the better future. A future better than the death trap we are sleep-walking into as a country.
Day in and day out, I think of a mother in the long winding bank queues just to withdraw $30 dollars. I also think of a mother and a father in the beautiful valleys of Kezi who has needlessly lost a child because the healthcare system in her local area has collapsed. I think of a young men in Kuwadzana in Harare and Mpopoma in Bulawayo who dream of a job but who have no prospect of ever finding such a job, it hurts me inside when I think of a grandfather in Kamativi who cannot receive his state pension because the government is bankrupt, I think of a child who works hard at school and aims higher in life but has no prospect of getting good education, I think of millions of Zimbabweans scattered all around the world in search of a better life-these Zimbabweans encounter humiliation, exploitation and abuse day in and day out, all because their country cannot offer them decency and dignity.
I am fighting for a chance to usher in a new economic-political and social dispensation-where would use our God-given resources to benefit all Zimbabweans, where rule of law will apply equally to all of our citizens, where we will build a good healthcare system, where we will build an economy to provide employment for our people, where we will build a national bank accessible to all citizens, where we will nationalise strategic sectors of our economy for the benefit of all our citizens, where we can provide free primary and secondary education.
I call upon all other democratic forces in Zimbabwe to embrace each other in solidarity for a cause and a course to change Zimbabwe.
There is no political party in Zimbabwe which is heir-apparent to ZanuPF. We must not compete to be heir but offer an agenda and a strategy to defeat ZanuPF and a strategy to rescue our country. Every opposition voice counts because the cause and the destination of our travel whether you are a big or small political party is the same, we all want a better life for our people. I for one am ready to carry on the fight.
To all the fighters out there, I ask you mobilise in a democratic way, register to vote, offer yourself as a volunteer for recruitment and campaigning, to all Zimbabweans it is time for us as a people to wake up, dust ourselves up and demand a big change. I ask those who can to donate to various political parties and help organise campaigns to prepare for 2018 vote.
I thank you all
May God bless you and our great country.
Kind regards
Innocent Ndibali
