Midrand Housing Cooperative must be investigated

Editor,

I am humbly appealing to the Commission of Enquiry of the Sale of State Land, headed by Honourable Justice Uchena Tendai, cto investigate a housing Cooperative called Midrand Housing Cooperative Society Limited, Registration Number 5018, registered under section seventeen of the Cooperative Society Act, Chapter 24:05, signed in Harare on 22nd day of April 2016, by E.Ndlovu, Registrar of Cooperative Societies Zimbabwe.

Midrand Housing Cooperative, which is headed by one Enward Mbabvu, only came to Southlands Park around 2013, with the help of former Member of Parliament for Harare South, Mr Shadreck Mashayamombe, Former Zanu Pf Political Commissar Mr Saviour Kasukuwere and Former Zanu Pf Youth Chair Kudzi Chipanga. The Cooperative was made to instantly replace Rambai Makashinga Housing Cooperative Society, leading to a myriad of other members losing their stands they had acquired through their respective cooperatives and made subscriptions to, since 2005. Midrand Housing Cooperative has got several members who are directly linked to the MDC-T, whose influence made it easier for them to have the City of Harare pass a lot of resolutions in their favour, including the disputed opportunity for them to pay intrinsic land price ahead of the original owners, which was done on 20 October 2015, ref CA-9-137-1.

The Midrand Housing Cooperative Society, must explain to Zanu Pf, the party in government, the Ministry of local Government and the Commission of Enquiry in place, about the move they made with the G40 Kingpins, resulting in loss of other people's hard earned cash, since over 50 eviction letters have so far been filed at the civil courts. It is believed the move is well calculated by ty the G40 working in cahoots with Mbabvu and company, to disturb most registered voters from exercising their right ahead of the impending general elections to be conducted between July and August 2018.

There is a lot of evidence regarding the above given issue, showing links between the Chairman and members of G40.

Thank you.
