Open Letter to Chamisa - Magwegwe demands election

28 May 2018 at 03:03hrs | Views
Dear President Chamisa,

I am resident of Magwegwe. I understand you want Anele to stand unopposed. Anele is with Khupe. Anele does not live in Magwegwe and we are determined to get rid of him.

We won't allow the rigging against us this time. We demand  that our voices be heard.

Here is what we are now doing.

I have contacted 5 busses to come pick us up at 4:30 am and plan to visit you and deliver our grievances before you our beloved president. We plan to arrive to Harare at 8 :30 am from Bulawayo. Can we set this appointment.  We have called Hon. Komichi and he won't answer. We tried your number several times and it won't get answered. We have sent messages many times with no avail. We are Left with no Choice but to seek your guidance in person. Our fear is Vanguard and for this reason, we have only organized women to come.

We had elections scheduled at a house belonging to one of the  candidates illegally in a plot to rig against the people. We could not accept that and we chose another venue. All candidates agreed.
Then at 11 pm Friday , Chairman Banda cancelled the elections.sadly, elderly and over 300 people had gathered for election only to be told that no election was happening.  Such crass!   It's clear that  this is rigging for Khupe who works with Anele and Banda  and you are being played your honor. We are also in understanding that Anele is giving cars to use at your rally. It's all a buy against us and it's undemocratic and corruption of true.

We are all in love with you and each bus represent the other 5 contesting candidates with their supporters and their voices to be heard  before your office.

Please helps us with a voice for Democracy and not imposition.

Our only other route is to go to a Zanu PF court and demand our rights the same way we are stoping Khupe from using our great party name and images.
We would hate to use this route and hopefully we plan to file this Tuesday noon.

We would never plan to defect. We have always supported you. But we like carry out an election and support the candidate as an independent if needs be. We can't guess what's going on politically but we want to start campaigning for you to win all Bulawayo. People are stabbing you in the back and we in Magwegwe are the ones who have your back. We are 100% sure that Anele and Banda are playing both sides.
Magwegwe loves you Mr. President and don't waste that. We are left with no option but we put our few dollars and come visit and plead with you for an election this Saturday at the grounds at 10 am.
We as women of Magwegwe have this wish and have power to protect our community and chart our future without external hands.
We hope for your help Speedy.
