Open Letter: VP Mphoko salvage us from the National Pledge
27 Apr 2016 at 18:08hrs | Views
Baba Mphoko, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Allow me Honorable Vice President to write to you today first as a son (because you are from my region and in my region anyone the age of your father is your father) as well as a brother (because you are a Christian and as a Christian too we are both sons of God thus we are brothers in faith).
Honorable, my issue today is this National Pledge that is being forced on us the God fearing and patriotic Zimbabweans by Minister Lazarus Dokora. There are just but a few things Honorable Sir that I need to bring to your urgent attention regarding this pledge that shall be initiated in schools on the 3rd of May 2016.
Firstly, as a Christian yourself you will agree with me that this pledge makes a mockery of the name of God. It says "Almighty God, in whose hands our future lies. I salute the national flag…." Honestly, is there a necessity for me, you, my children and your dear grandchildren to call God so as to salute the national flag? Do you think there is any sensibility it telling God that now I am saluting the flag, doesn't He see that? The only plausible reason why this is so, is because the Minister simple wants our children and your grandchildren to mock and use the name of God in vain and violate the Scripture in Exodus 20 v 7 "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain."
Secondly, as a devout Christian yourself baba Mphoko, you will agree with me that this pledge exposes our children to ancestral worship when it says 'respecting the brave fathers and mothers who lost lives in the Chimurenga/Umvukela…' These are the dead. How should the children respect these dead people? This is a spiritual statement that draws children to ancestral and dead people worship and that is totally against the word of God.
Thirdly, honorable, Minister Dokora is forcing our children to declare that they 'are proud creators and participants in our vibrant traditions and cultures…' Which traditions? Which cultures? You will remember my Vice President that there are more than 20 tribal groups in Zimbabwe and they all have diverse traditions and cultures. Even the Satanists have traditions. So are our children and your grandchildren proud participants in satanic and pagan traditions? I don't think so.
Fourthly, let me point it straight my honorable that as a patriotic Zimbabwean I am disappointed that Dokora is allowed to blatantly spit at your face and to abuse our President Robert Mugabe. He is spiting at your face because he knows that you are a Christian and responsible for policy coordination and what does he do? He deliberately makes a pagan pronouncement that is in violation of the Constitution of Zimbabwe which you baba Mphoko should see to it that it is in coordination with national policies.
Furthermore, Dokora is abusing our President because he knows that he is a devout Catholic and this pledge is against the teachings of the Word of God and now he takes advantage of the ailing age of our president and his generosity and wants the President at his twilight age to be part of a Lucifer act of abomination in the name of patriotism.
We are aware baba Mphoko that Dokora belongs to a kind of faith that believes in radical extremism and his faith is not in sync with the Christian faith. Now he wants all of us as Christians to be radicalized and be converted to his faith. He wants our children and your grandchildren to be under a curse.
When Dokora defends his pledge he makes examples of some countries that are known to worship ants, flies, cockroaches and even lizards as gods of this and that. Some of the countries he makes reference to are known to agree to people marrying animals. Do we really have to be like that as Zimbabwe? Where is our independence? Where is our sovereignty? Where is patriotism in Dokora himself because the way it seems he lacks patriotism and sovereignty himself.
Baba Mphoko who knows maybe God has placed you in that office as Vice President and also the Vice President responsible for policy coordination, at a time like this so that you save His people from being forced to commit a sin by a mere Minister of government.
Please VP Mphoko, as a God fearing Christian, as a respectful and principles man, as a defender of our sovereignty, STOP THIS DOKORA PLEDGE PLEASE. If you decide to ignore this and letter Dokora continue with his pagan and abominable act of equating a pledge to a flag with the Lord's Prayer please know that our help will come from somewhere else – God will raise stones to help us because He alone is our Savior and our salvation comes from Him (God).
Do the right thing baba Mphoko and don't forget that when we reach Heaven one day God will judge and crown us according to our works. If you keep silent on this – you will be judged by it. But if you act on it – you will also be crowned for it!
Yours Sincerely
