Dear Phelekezela Mphoko

I write this letter to you with a heavy heart baba. Like most patriotic Zimbabweans, when you came through to the Government we kind of gave you space and hoped you will be different.

Even when the other guys made noise about you and some tribally attacked you and interpreted your name in a tribalistic manner which by the way they still do (especially Biti and Mujuru crowd), some of us stood by you.

But of late, we are no longer sure and we are like, oh no, was this the right choice made by the President to represent Umdala Wethu?

I am going to give you five reasons why people are doubting you and you have to find a way of addressing them.

I am not going to attack you, but like a loyal son, I will just give you pointers.

It will be up to you to call Professor Jonathan Moyo and find a way of cleaning this mess up.

The first point is on your stance on GUKURAHUNDI.

This one baba you are alone! How could you say that it was a western conspiracy when thousands of people from the constituency you represent died or should I say were killed!

Was your stance on this the reason why you were given the job? If not, can you please clean it up and explain yourself on this one. You need to work out the exact story and ensure that you gain your credibility as soon as possible. I won't say much on this but please , clean it up, your current position smells. I am sure Prof Moyo can help you on this one, he seems to understand the sensitivity around it very well.

The second one is the Hotel stay!

Oh baba, how can you stay in a Hotel for two years baba? I struggle to stay in a hotel for two weeks, wena baba you have stayed for two years!

Two years!! There is no good reason for this. You should have seen from the word go that this was a set up by your enemies but am disappointed you didn't . Even Prof Moyo, why didn't he alert you on this one? It's a set up baba, get out of that hotel now!

It's already late but quietly get out! You would rather operate from your house in Bulawayo than stay a week longer in that hotel. Prof Moyo is struggling to defend you on Twitter regarding this one.

The third one is this G40 thing. If you are part of it, well, it's your choice but, be careful.

Where I come from they say if you are going to eat a dog, eat a big one! You seem to have gone for a small one!

The fourth issue is about your war with War Vets.

Baba, they are saying they don't know you. They are saying you ran away from war. You were sent to Mozambique and there you just went underground and got married to a beautiful woman ikoko when they were still dodging bullets. Is that true baba?

Well , on this one my suggestion to you is that your best bet is Dumiso Dabengwa. I don't know what your current relationship is with DD but if I were you, I would go and beg that man and say DD let's bury the hatchet I am sorry for all the wrong I did to you but let's work together.

You are a Christian and you understand the value of forgiveness and humility. As a leader, at some point you have to bow down and apologize even to those you hate or not like nor understand. DD is the only man I think can clean your reputation for now with regards to your War history. Sleep over this suggestion and pray about it. Don't consult Prof Moyo about this one. Just do it for you and your family.

You see baba, your position is a lonely position, you need all your old friends from Zipra otherwise you cannot gain new ones from ( next door) Zanla if you haven't resolved issues with your family (read Zipra).

Mqabuko must be turning in his grave seeing that Report and Dumiso are not publicly seen working together. Fix your relationship you two now! Remember "Isotsha eliphethe umntwana" principles.

The last one from me today is about the current economic crisis.

In Zimbabwe. The cash crisis, civil servants failing to be paid etc. I did write sometime ago that soon Government will fail to pay the civil servants and here we are, the Government is in arrears on one of its biggest monthly expenditures.

This is a crisis baba. I don't know what the Ministers tell the Presidency in your weekly Cabinet meetings but I believe this could be your bounce back, your time to shine!

Here is your solution. Go talk to the President, one on one, ask him to give you the authority to go and approach South Africa. When he says yes , you go and meet Msholozi eNkandla and say to him, Nxamalala, we have a problem across Limpopo. The imperialist Governments in the West has taken away all the US Dollars (you know this is a lie but just say it to serve face) from the Economy.

Tell him why Zimbabwe doesn't want to officially announce that the Rand as an official clearing currency but have settled to push it through as one of the multiple currencies. Ask him to rescue Zimbabwe in a more bigger way than Thabo.

The Finance Ministers will then do the numbers and sign the paperwork and Msholozi will see to it that Rands are shipped to Zimbabwe in a matter of weeks. It's not as simplistic as portrayed here but it's possible and with your experience it can be done. All it needs is a bit of humility and commitment to SA. It's about time the parents go next door and ask the neighbor to help.

If you don't do that, by Christmas, your Government is now more likely to be history and the people would have booted all of you out. There is no way those Bond Notes will rescue Zimbabwe, Mangudya knows that very well and am sure he told you in the Cabinet but was overruled by the other faction, what is called, Lacoste?! Anyway, It's time baba, this is the reason why God put you there, act now!!!
