Motlanthe commission condemned for Zimbabwe genocide arrests
28 Oct 2018 at 10:07hrs | Views
Fellow Matebeleland nationals and friends of Matebeleland, the 1893 Mthwakazi Human Rights Restoration Movement (1893 MHRRM), reaches out to you today once more, as our Nation is under siege from the forces of gross and systematic Matebeleland Human Rights violations and Genocide. These forces of Gukurahundism are unrelenting and are still all out to violate our Matebele Rights with wanton impunity.
Sadly as the 1893 MHRRM reaches out to you today, our people's hearts are broken and aching for Truth, Justice, Reparations and Healing in our motherland for the Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide committed against them by the sectarian state of Zimbabwe. As they do so, their voices are being muzzled and suppressed wantonly in the glare of the world's eye using sectarian state police and sectarian state agents.
The Mnangagwa regime backed by the Motlante led Commission is going for broke arresting and criminalising the victims and survivors of this genocide for daring to tell the Truth about the Genocide and how their innocent relatives were killed in cold blood by a state ethnic Shona army called the 5th Brigade of Zimbabwe.
Sadly as this Movement reaches out to you today, some of our brothers and sisters are languishing in Mnangagwa's dirty dungeon cells in Bulawayo for daring to demand Truth and Justice for the Matebeleland Genocide.
Listening to the brave Patrick Mthandazo Ndlovu and his sister giving a moving and harrowing testimony about the death of their relative under the leadership of this government is gut wrenching.
Consequent to the above testimonials in front of the Motlante led Commission; we have witnessed violent arrests of innocents by state agents and police for daring to testify in front of that Commission about their experiences during the Matebeleleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide.
Sadly our people still face systematic and gross violations of their rights in Zimbabwe by an unrepentant regime that seeks to sanitize its international image using the Motlante Commission of Enquiry, dubbed an "international Commission"
Mthwakazi rightfully asks: When has the death of 6 people been more important than the death of 50 000 to 100 000 people to deserve an "International Commission"? This Movement unreservedly condemns any loss of life in any part of Zimbabwe and the world. It equally condemns, in the strongest terms possible, attempts made to trivialize the Matebeleland Genocide.
The Movement strongly condemns the criminalization of the demand for Truth and Justice for the Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide by the sectarian state of Zimbabwe.
The 1893 MHRRM demands the urgent freeing of Mkhwananzi and his co-criminalized innocents who are languishing in the dungeon cells of Zimbabwe. It calls upon Motlante and his commission to step up and step in to arrest the situation.
The Movement, all the same, condemns the Motlante Commission for failing to protect those testifying in front of it. The failure to protect them speaks volumes about the Motlante Commission. If the fact be told, the Motlante Commission is simply a dollar guzzling dodo of no relevance to Matebeleland issues, whose game in town is meant to sanitize the regime and give it a good image internationally. This Commission, without mincing the Truth, is dismally failing in its given script. Motlante must face well organised demonstrations against his person when he jets back to South Africa.
Taking note of above events and the heart breaking human rights violations against our Nation by a sectarian state of Zimbabwe, the Movement scheduled a Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide in Luton, United Kingdom on the 3rd November 2018, next week to be precise.
The public is urged to come in numbers for this important event. The main speaker of the Conference is Moses Mzila Ndlovu, a former MDC legislator and a fierce advocate for Truth and justice for Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide.
Brother and sisters, there is no more reason for us to stand aside and look while our Nation burns. Come let us reason and act together towards Truth, Justice, Reparations and Healing for Matebeleland.
Desmond Tutu once said, "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality."
Matebeleland faces an injustice of gigantic proportions. The time has come to "Stand Up for Our Rights".
As a way of an update, the 1893 MHRRM Student wing in RSA is preparing for a Matebeleland "Gukurahundi" Genocide similar to the UK one before end of this year. It is expected that more high profile figures will be able to attend this event in South Africa.
Stay tuned to updates from the Movement!
