I am so disturbed by this cat & mouse thing that is happening between kombis, police and city council. I did my research and found that the root problem is not kombi owners, the drivers or the police. I discover something has to be addressed from those who implement polices. There are too many requirements for the kombi to be on the road and the owner has to go to many offices to meet the requirements. At the same time i question why there is this requirement of retest on drivers. The retest issues mean that the Min of Transport doubt its competency wen issuing the licences. In this, it mean all graduates shld be called for retest in Zim. Because of all these too many requirements and bi-laws which are continually changed and implemented, obviously corruption will be the major character.

A country with too many policies on one thing is associated wth corruption yet the police & min of transport give blame to drivers and owners. Recently Cde O Mpofu indicated that he wants to review age restriction of those who drive public service vehicle from 25 to 35, is he aware of life expectancy in Zim. Is he also aware of unemployment rate in Zim, which includes his bank which retrenched recently. Is the Gvt aware of only industry which is employing in Zim. Yet instead of also protecting such industry while experiencing hardships that we are facingin our own land, Zimbabweans are punished. Kana zvichibvira ngavabva wangoisa voting age starting from 35 coz those whom you are sidelined from driving voted for these politicians.

They are now sitting pretty in offices and now they just implement by-laws which are punitive to Zimbabweans. Honestly there is nid to relooked at these too many requirements and revise back some of the requirement on kombis and driver, public will continue remain crying while those big chefs sitting pretty and laugh. At 25 someone has kids to take to skul, dependents at rural etc and only industry to get job is driver. Now the industry is left unprotected. Nxaa hurumende yemuZimbabwe, tarwadziwa isu.
