2:15am, 6 May - +263 77 *** ****: Why retest on drivers? There is no reason for retest on drivers, its just a way of punishing voters who voted the same government into power,a child can not go back to crawling after walking so the law the requires drivers for public transport to be retested should be removed. The Ministry of transport should concentrate on the maintenance of our roads intead of enforcing colonial punitive laws/regulations on public transporters. Its like reversing the joy tht came wth independence to note tht doing public transport business in Zim requires lots which requirements are not asked when u go to a polling station, eg if u can vote at 18 yrs of age then why not drive a public transport vehicle when your vote carries all to form a government? Why is it a punishable offennce to be found driving wthout a retest if i may ask? Retest for what? Retesting a driver who when employed was asked to prove tht he/she has a clean drivers licence nd 5 yrs experience is nonsense if not just a way of making money by milking voters. The Ministry of transport must also be arested for neglecting its delegated duty of maintaining roads, such should made law so tht roads are maintained than implement stupid laws tht make the voting public on public roads frown at the mainstream government nd no more than two road blocks on a 100km stretch of the road nd road blocks be mounted on the good roads not on bad routes like Plumtree -Tekwane Ndolwane routes -no road by its present state.
