Kirsty Coventry is Zimbabwe Flag-bearer at #Rio2016

Sport has the power to bring us together but our Flag has the power to keep us united. When I walk into the Olympic Stadium on 5 August 2016, the weight of our Flag will be heavy but it will be lifted with the hope of millions."
The 32-year-old swimmer is the most decorated female Olympic swimmer and also the most successful Olympian from the African continent as she has seven medals to her name, including two gold ones after winning the 200m backstroke both at the Athens and Beijing Games.
