ZIFA is at an advanced stage of getting all national teams kit sponsorship from reputable sporting apparel company.
The deal should sail through before the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon next January.
Sources claim that they stumbled upon information that loose ends are now being tied down by Kappa and Zifa that will see the Warriors in a Kappa kit in January at Gabon 2017 Afcon tournament.
The last shirt sponsors for the national teams were Joma, a Spanish sports equipment supplier who they parted ways with early this year.
"We are in serious discussions with other kit sponsors. We will advise the nation once the discussions have been concluded. We are looking forward to doing that as soon as possible," said Zifa communications manager Xolisani Gwesela.
With leading sporting brands Zifa only had a short term deal at the end of 2013 with Umbro.
The deal brokered by then Warriors coach Ian Gorowa saw the Warriors using Umbro at the African Nations Championships (Chan) that were held in January 2014 in South Africa.
Since Italian sports apparel manufacturer Legea cut ties with the Warriors, Zifa has been struggling to secure a technical sponsor.
In August last year, ZIFA unveiled Joma as the new technical partner. It was agreed that Joma would be ZIFA's technical partner to assist in the kitting of the Warriors, Mighty Warriors and all junior national teams.
Apparently, the relationship barely lasted 18 months.
