Talented but controversial striker Rodrick Mutuma is finally a Highlanders FC player.
Bulawayo24.com has learnt that the former Dynamos striker sealed the deal a few hours ago with Highlanders this Tuesday.
We understand he signed a season long contract.
His pending move to Highlanders had been on the cards for weeks and has been training under the watchful eyes of head coach Erol Akbay.
Akbay and his lieutenants that include his assistant Amini Soma- Phiri and goalkeepers' coach Cosmas Zulu reached a consensus on bringing on Mutuma but the Highlander top hierarchy was said to be divided over his signature.
A well-wisher is said to have volunteered to pay for Mutuma's sign on fees.
