Warriors Assistant Coach, Peter Ndlovu has raised concern over media reports which accused Technical Director, Nelson Matongorere as having unprocedurally sat on the Warriors technical team bench during the Zimbabwe-Egypt clash at the National Sports Stadium.

The former Warriors captain had no kind words for his bosses following a media article that accused Matongorere of having imposed himself on the technical team's bench during Sunday's World Cup qualifier match.

Ndlovu said the comments by his employers are criminal as they try to pin attention on trivial issues and not focus on what needs to be done to ratify the defeat.

He said the sentiments send wrong insinuations which try to blame Matongorere as having been responsible for the defeat.

"We share a good working relation with Matongorere who is also our senior as the Technical Director and his presence at the bench is very much welcome to the technical team," said Ndlovu.

The Warriors fell 2-4 to Egypt in a match that has opened mixed reactions with some fans thinking the rebuilding process has failed to yield results while others have endorsed the process, saying the new playing philosophy is giving hope for a better and improved Warriors performance.
