FORMER Dynamos assistant coach Masimba Dinyero has joined flamboyant Zvishavane-based Castle Lager Premiership outfit FC Platinum in the same capacity.
Dinyero, the 1989 Soccer Star of the Year, will work under his close friend Lloyd Mutasa who was appointed FC Platinum's acting head coach a month ago. In a statement yesterday, FC Platinum announced that Dinyero will reunite with his former Dynamos teammate Mutasa and will work as the team's assistant coach.
"FC Platinum Football Club advises that as part of its on-going efforts to strengthen its Premier Soccer League team, it has appointed Masimba Dinyero as assistant coach to Lloyd Mutasa who was recently brought in as a development coach and acting head coach of the senior team," the club said.
Dinyero has worked under Mutasa since 2004 when they were player/coaches at Sporting Lions and were together at Kiglon, Shooting Stars and Dynamos.
