Seven games played, eighteen goals scored, 3 home wins, 1 away win and 3 draws, two of the draws none scoring.
WINNERS AND LOSERS
FC Platinum started life at their new home ground- Mandava stadium- with a good win over Highlanders. It was a big win for new coach, former Bosso and warriors coach Rahman Gumbo in his first assignment. The win saw them cut log leaders Motor Action lead at the top to just two points. Favourites to grab the title, they are unbeaten in their last two games all played at home.
Chicken Inn moved to third, after returning to winning ways, having lost their last two games to Bosso and Hwange
Caps utd continued with their free scoring, led by a hattrick from Simba Sithole. Makepekepe have won their last two games hitting a massive nine goals and conceding just twice in the process. Goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda also scored the fourth goal from the spot. The win takes them to fourth on the log, five points behind leaders Motor action.
Dynamos also recorded a second straight win as they continue to improve their finishing. They are unbeaten in their last four games, since their defeat to Zim saints at BF. They conceded for the first time since that defeat to chikwata. In sixth position Dembare is now a point behind Bosso and Makekepe, and six points behind log leaders- motor action. They are back in the picture. It is their second biggest win after the 5-1 win over Masvingo at Rufaro and only the third time they have scored more than one goal in 12 attempts/games.
As top teams are collecting points Bosso are losing ground and suffered a second consecutive 2-o defeat and are now fifth on the log, five points behind the leaders. When players are suspended or injured they seem not to have a way around for replacements. This was their fourth defeat of the season, the third away from home.
Masvingo suffered a fourth defeat of the season, the defeats coming away from home- they remain unbeaten at home.
Mambas and Kiglon continued with their struggles in the league, with Mambas having the worst defence, as they have conceded a massive 20 goals. Mambas have now lost their last 4 games.
With a draw Saints maintained their unbeaten record at home, while Shabanie are unbeaten in the last 6 games- 1 win and 5 draws and have not conceded in their last 3 games, having played 3 goalless draws.
Leaders Motor Action dropped points at home but extended their unbeaten run to eight games since their only defeat to Shooting stars 1-0. On the other hand Hwange stretched their unbeaten run to four games since their 1-0 away defeat to Mambas. They have also not conceded in those four games, managing 3 wins and 1 draw.
