Harare West House of Assemble Member Jessie Majome has appealed for donations towards women soccer team.
"I am appealing for help in cash or kind for Chichera Plot in Good Hope's women's soccer team, the Fire Queens," said Majome.
She thanked one Rachel Mayers for her donation of soccer balls and paying their affiliation fees. She also thanked Simeon Mawaza support in fund-raising the coach's training fees.
"The team is in Harare Province Women's Division 2 where last year they made a good account of themselves finishing 5th on the league log. Of the games they played they won 3, drew 3 and lost twice," said Majome.
She said the 2015 season is about to kicks off and the team is in dire need of joining fees which amount to $350 so that it can play in the league.
"It also needs soccer pitch maintenance costs, soccer balls, football boots, soccer jerseys, tracksuits and transport for their away games," said Majome.
"I have been supporting Fire Queens since 2010, but the team's needs have grown with its stature and so I am appealing for help. To assist inbox me or call/whatsapp +263771412600/+263776181921."
