Prince Harry and his cousin Zara Phillips were in playful mood at a charity polo  match Sunday, The Daily Mail reported on Monday.

The target of their larking around was Zara's fiance, England rugby captain Mike Tindall.

But while a boisterous Harry pretended to shoot him by pointing his hand at him in the shape of a gun, Zara was nicer, frolicking with the sportsman on a grassy bank.

The trio were pictured outside a marquee at the Beaufort Polo Ground at Tetbury, Gloucestershire.

Harry, imitating a pose often seen being used by 'gangsta' rappers, appeared to snarl as he aimed his 'gun' in the direction of Mr Tindall and personal fitness consultant Winston Squire, who reached up to grab his wrist.

But the prince was all smiles seconds later as he tussled with Mr Squire, who works with the England polo and rugby teams.

Mr Squire, once Peter Mandelson's personal trainer, jokingly pushed Harry away by the neck as Mr Tindall, in a black and pink T-shirt and faded jeans, looked on and laughed heartily.

And Zara, who arrived at the polo having returned from her hen weekend in Portugal, soon joined in the high-jinks.

Wearing sunglasses, she may have been feeling somewhat fragile having been spotted on her break wearing a pink tutu and playing drinking games. But at one point yesterday she affectionately gripped Harry by the neck, before turning her attention to her fiance, kissing and hugging him as they wrestled on the grass.

There certainly seemed to be no  hard feelings between the cousins as reports emerged that 32-year-old Mr Tindall and Zara have not invited Harry's on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy to their wedding in Edinburgh next month.

Meanwhile, Mr Tindall revealed that he had proposed to Princess Anne's daughter as she was watching television and she burst into laughter.

'I was upstairs, plucking up the nerve to do it, while Zara was downstairs watching television,' he said. 'I walked in and got down on one knee, with the ring.

'I said, "Will you marry me?" She started laughing. She was completely in shock.

Then, when she stopped laughing, she said, "Yes". That was a relief.'

n Michael and Carole Middleton are to be invited to attend Balmoral Castle for the first time this year as guests of the Queen, it was claimed yesterday.

The move appears to show that a warm relationship is developing between the Windsors and the parents of the new Duchess of Cambridge. The Middletons went shooting on the Queen's Scottish estate last November but did not stay in the castle itself.

The Middletons met the Queen and Prince Philip only nine days before their daughter's April wedding to Prince William. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: 'We don't confirm guests at Balmoral.'
